Visible Armband 2.0 is the wearable made for illness, not fitness. Visible helps more than 100,000 people with Long Covid, ME/CFS, POTS, Fibromyalgia and more to improve their pacing. // Pacing means balancing activities and rest to avoid crashes and improve your quality of life. It helps you get the most from the energy you have, but it can be challenging to implement in real life. That's where Visible comes in. Unlike fitness tracking apps, Visible uses data and technology to help with rest and pacing, not workouts and exercise. // KNOW YOUR DAY AHEAD: Measure your biometrics, including HRV and Resting Heart Rate each morning, so you can better understand your stability and pace your day. // SEE WHAT USES ENERGY: Use PacePoints to compare between activities, and budget your energy across the day. // LEARN WHEN TO SLOW DOWN: Get real-time alerts when your heart rate crosses into your exertion threshold, so you can take a moment to pause and rest. // TAKE PART IN RESEARCH Opt-in to studies with world-leading researchers to volunteer your data and help advance the science of invisible illness. // Visible is not intended to provide medical services such as diagnosis, cure, mitigation, prevention, or treatment of any disease or medical condition. The app is not a substitute for the advice of a medical professional based on your personal circumstances. Helps with pacing for the day to prevent my down days
Being clearly geared toward fatigue, sleep disorders, and other related chronic conditions, Visible has a great UI, tracking and check-in prompts, and feedback. I chose it for this reason and because the funds go toward research that will benefit people like me, not some rich CEO's pocket or a seemingly irrelevant military source.
Even using the free app helped establish some baseline data and patterns for me to work with, but the wristband has been well worth the investment. Not having to do so much mental admin has saved some of my precious energy, and it is no doubt more accurate overall than mostly self-reporting. The recommendations for pacing have actually been spot on and the notifications for when I am expending too much energy are helpful.
It is really useful to see when you start working yourself before you tire yourself out. Also, you can see which activities tend to overdo it, which is helpful in planning out your day.
Only been using the wrist band and app for a couple of weeks but already finding it so helpful for pacing and knowing when I am actually resting. It is easy to use and the additional features such as coherent breathing and the ‘podcast’ type videos are very helpful to understand more of the science around their product. I’ve been recommending to others in the Long Covid community.
I didn't realize how much I needed Visible until I used it for a week and saw how my daily patterns were draining me. It was also nice to be able to show my family why I was crashing and exhausted all the time. I'm starting to feel like I can pace myself better and I'm feeling very hopeful.

Using the band and app has given me permission. It feels like a mum saying “not today darling, rest up and take it easy”. That has been transformative for me. Knowing that this data comes from my body means I am making decisions to rest or to do more based on what my body actually needs rather than guesswork or self judgement. I feel more connected to my body and feel like we are working together as a team, rather than against each other. I feel more assured to say no. It’s turned my “shoulds” into “coulds” and helped me make decisions based on knowledge and compassion rather than guilt or shame. Sharing the data with my husband has helped him see past the confusion of me being ‘okay’ one day and not the next.
The band itself is really comfy and I usually am very sensitive and have reactions to straps- i get an allergic reaction to Fitbit bands for example. The charge lasts a good 5 days which makes life simpler. I really couldn’t recommend more

I often felt like I was being dramatic or exaggerating when I felt I was too low on energy since some people can do more than I can. But with visible I have validation when I'm running low on energy and I can even see how much energy I spend on specific tasks. This has been so helpful and although it was pricey, it was worth it to me.

While visible is meant more for budgeting energy, I have found it exceedingly useful in a form of self cardiac alert. I struggle with Neurocardiogenic syncope chronically and frequently loose consciousness when I’m standing too long, exposed to heat, bending or moving too much. The tricky part is that It always felt like it would sneak up on me and I would lose consciousness before I could sense the prondrome. Now….visible shows me when my body is exerting in the background on a level I didn’t see or notice before and that no fitness device ever showed me. I can see the sustained exertion and spikes BEFORE the prondrome and it allows me to plan a safe place to sit and rest and level out before I lose consciousness. While not a perfect system it works for me and has saved me thousands of dollars in American medical bills because I’m able to get myself to safety first.

It works wonderful for seeing when you're heart rate is to high but mine keeps disconnecting from my phone

I was cautiously optimistic when I ordered, hoping I didn't get snookered into buying something that didn't work. I am happy to say I am delighted with Visible! The band is so very accurate to my symptoms. I have POTS and this is the ONLY tracker that alerts me for when I need to take a break, need to rest, or about to crash. While it was a bit expensive for my budget in the beginning (purchasing the band and the monthly app subscription together), I now view it as an investment in myself--so yes, it is worth it because I am worth it. The fact that I will be able to print out a PDF of my symptoms and take that to my doctors offices is another perk that Visible does.
If I could make a change to Visible, to the band itself, I wish that the band vibrated or made some type of noise for when I need to take it easy or am about to crash. Right now it alerts me through my phone.

Its early days but it has focussed me on not over doing; noticing what activities raise my heart rate and helped me to rest better

Incredibly helpful in managing my fatigue. Managed to not have a crash and rest properly dive using it. Breathing exercises a game changer for me. Can't recommend enough to anyone with a health issue where pacing yourself is needed to get better.

I’ve been using the Visible band for about two weeks and I’m very impressed so far! I’m hoping the data I’m gathering is going to help me with my next discussion with my GP, but I’m also finding it very validating.
It was delivered quickly after ordering, as well as an armband that I ordered separately (it comes with the wrist band as standard). Initial setup was straightforward, you need to download the app, create an account and pair the device, all quite standard for wearables and well guided by the app.
I have also sought advice from the app’s help assistant, which starts out as AI, but within minutes an actual person who had clearly been monitoring the chat stepped in to offer more information. Brilliant!
I think it’s an impressive little gadget that isn’t overly expensive or complicated, and worth trying if you’re struggling with energy for daily tasks, especially if you’re struggling to get a diagnosis of what’s wrong! I’m glad I got it!

The visible band has helped me be proactive with my exertion and energy usage instead of reactive. I've only had it for a few weeks so I'm looking forward to seeing how my trends evolve.

Love my band , it's been a game changer , I've been chronically ill and palliative care. For the last year I've had crazy symptoms that mimic other illnesses. Mystery illness on top of lymphoma and RA and white matter brain disease and spinal epidural lipomatosis. I've been noticing my heart rate. Blood pressure and oxygen levels all going very low.But with the band i'm also noticing what kind of activities really affect my heart rate. It is something to really look at information that validates how I feel .
There are so many people that thought I was exaggerating. My symptoms, but I can actually show them what's going on. And it makes it very real for them, it almost really helps us show the people that are close to us care for us and live with us the truth about what's going on
I have trouble keeping up with marking the activities during the exertion periods, but I will say that the battery on the band lasts a really long time.I have never had it die on me even after twenty four hours. It's weird because I didn't expect a wristband but i'm glad that it is a wristband instead of an armband because I am overweight. The charger is magnetic and really easy to use. The only thing I thought would be to add and alert or a sound.Whenever you are exerting yourself ... i would i also love to see the band notify me whenever they see something that is abnormal or if i'm having symptoms of a certain medical condition... i also don't have enough words or space. Sometimes, to sum up my day. I feel it's important to put details in and sometimes there are so many things that are important to add to really get a good picture about. What access. Maybe even a record of what we eat or drink. Medication and not having a regular sleep schedule may make it hard to really develop a conclusion. But I definitely love my armband and I'm looking forward to seeing how I can use it to pace myself. And to use the results that I'm seeing to comfortably. Ask others to begin help support me by helping me slow down
