Easy to use, low in costs, helpdesk at the ready, great working with them.
Fantastic support from Erik, direct to the point, knew how to help, very clear on the communication and solved all the question/issues on every contact.

Based on less information in my account statement regarding a debited amount, I contacted „mollie“ and received qualified and friendly information after a short time.

Account closed because my profile was considered 'high risk.' This 'high risk' refers to the legitimate sale of glamour, boudoir, and fine-art nude photography, operated with a regular VAT number. But hey, maybe I’d be fine selling fraudulent products or 'get rich quick' crypto courses. I don't know at what point society became like this, but it certainly doesn't feel like we're living in 2025.

Mollie provides a very smooth and reliable payment experience. The platform is easy to use, payouts are transparent, and everything is clearly explained.
What I appreciate most is their support team — professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful when needed. Any questions or requests I’ve had were handled quickly and clearly.
Overall, Mollie is a trustworthy payment provider that I’m happy to use and would confidently recommend to others.

We opened a Mollie account for a non-profit foundation with the sole purpose of accepting donations.
From the beginning, we clearly stated that there would be no sales or commercial activity.
Despite this, we were asked to provide extensive documentation and were later surprised by a negative balance policy applied to a brand-new account with no transactions.
Even a small self-made test donation caused repeated automated emails asking us to top up the balance.
We did not request any refund and eventually decided to close the account, as the overall onboarding experience felt overly rigid and not suitable for non-profit organizations.
Mollie may work well for standard e-commerce use cases, but based on our experience, it is not a good fit for foundations or donation-based initiatives.

Avoid this service at all costs.
I am a photographer (working across fashion) and used the service through my bank Qonto as one of my client need to advance funds quickly through a payment link ahead of the project. Only a few days after using the service for the first time, I receive an email saying my account is under review without any requests for documents or explanation regarding my business. Only a few hours later I received another email saying my account was closed and I will not be able to use the service ever again without any explanations apart from the fact they found that my business didn't fit their T&Cs.
I have tried to reach out via many channels (including my bank reaching out to them directly) to their customer services, explaining that my business is not one of their forbidden business as I don't trade pornography, illegal or dangerous substances but FASHION AND PORTRAIT PICTURES. I have shared numerous proof - contract with the client, final images produced from the shoots, invoice, proof of my business registration etc etc - but only receive what is obviously automated messages saying decisions are finals and cannot be appealed. You cannot talk to the relevant team on the phone and they take a long time to reply on emails.
How can an account be close without even reaching out to the customer ahead to ask for further documentation ? And then they just say that they are not allowed to provide any details on the closure so no explanation as to why.
Luckily the funds had reach my bank account before they closed my Mollie account but I have read of people having thousands blocked within the app with no means of accessing their money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE !
EDIT: After a bad review, the customer service reacted straight away to ask for more details (when it takes days to get a response through the normal channels). All of that to then proceed to another - but this time longer, with suspected AI wording, so they can pretend they explained anything - email from the complaint service being completely opaque about the procedure. Mentioning "other conformity criteria that they are unauthorised to disclose". They are hiding behind their T&Cs (Article 5.4.) to justify the closure of the account but are still unable to pinpoint the reasons for closing said account. Again, considering the one and only payment was simply being paid for the service my business constantly legally provides, I would STAY AWAY from this app if you require a safe payment provider for your clients.

You keep telling me my payouts are "returned" but I have tested multiple bank accounts and none of them have ever received a single payment from you. My banks confirm nothing has ever been sent.
You closed my account in November and promised final payout on February 2nd. That date has passed and I have received nothing. I have been waiting over 6 months and have lost an extreme amount of money because of this.
Can you please try sending via SWIFT instead of SEPA? Or let me know what is actually happening with my funds because right now it feels like the money is just disappearing.
I am desperately waiting for my funds. Nobody at Mollie answers my emails or provides any real help. The only reason I am writing this review is because this is the only way I can get someone to actually respond.
Please contact me directly. I have bills to pay and I cannot wait any longer. I have tested multiple bank accounts and I am willing to test more if needed. I just need someone from your team to actually reach out to me and help resolve this.
It has been over 6 months. I have lost an extreme amount of money because of this situation. Please, someone at Mollie, just contact me and help me get my money.

I have been waiting for my funds since August 2025, over 6 months now. Mollie closed my account on November 14, 2025 and promised a final payout of all outstanding funds on February 2, 2026. I waited patiently for almost 3 months for this date.
Today is February 2, 2026, the exact date they set themselves, and I have received nothing. In October 2025, they even sent me an email claiming they had paid out 36,869 SEK (reference 19310514.2510.01), but I never received those funds either.
All my orders were shipped and delivered. All chargebacks were resolved with customers confirming they received their products. I have provided every document they requested. I have opened multiple support tickets (2407775, 2392284, 2407631) and only receive generic responses with no actual resolution.
I have now been without access to my own money for over 6 months. They set the payout date themselves, I waited as instructed, and on the promised date I received nothing. No explanation, no communication, just silence. I am nearly broke waiting for funds that Mollie is holding without justification.
If you value your business and cash flow, do not use Mollie. They will freeze your funds without proper cause and hold them indefinitely while giving you empty promises.

Unless other companies, the AI chatbot was already a good help. Because I had a specific question I needed to chat with someone from the heldesk, Demi. Although she said it was very busy, she gave me a quick and satisfying answer
