What I am interested from you and your "support" team is some proactive help to guide us through this mess, which may be of our own making because we did not appreciate the subtleties of the different types of accounts. I believe we have all been clear with what the problem is but no one on the "support" team has provided any support. All they have done is come back with more questions and tell us to provide information we have already provided. All I would like to do is actually talk to someone rather than have circular email conversations that have gone on for the last eight months. Perhaps someone could call me soon. You have my number on the account.
Update: 22:14 I sent a copy of the review to SumUp and they replied with the following
"Thank you for reaching out to us.
We’d like to inform you that we no longer use email as a communication channel."
Maybe they will call me in the morning?
I have now attempted to withdraw my funds through your app more than ten times. Each time I am redirected in circles through the in-app help system without any resolution.
I have already requested to complete this process via email because trying to resolve it inside the app has become extremely time-consuming and stressful. Despite this, I continue to be directed back to the same ineffective support loop.
I am formally asking for this matter to be escalated and handled outside the app so that my withdrawal can be completed without further delay.
This experience has been deeply frustrating, and I regret having to spend so much time trying to access my own funds. Please treat this as a priority and respond with clear next steps via email.
Have a sum up business account. Had fraudulent activity in another country where they’ve cloned my card and SumUp won’t do a thing about it. They emptied out my acc, it’s very clearly fraud yet they keep saying I authorised it. Wouldn’t trust my money with them ever again.
Having used Sumup happily for several years they requested more information about our organisation, which exists solely to fundraise for the Alzheimer's society.
This was sent and they immediately decided to close our account. When asked why they just said the decision is final.
Such an offhand way to deal with vulnerable clients

Used SumUp for a few years and no problem. Then suddenly it would not allowed me to transfer my money to my bank account. 7 hours online and last agent shut down and restarted and now I can’t even verify. I be sent two emails and tried to call but only got Bot. I will now go to financial conduct authority and will want compensation for time lost
Smooth and easy steps to follow get way to start setting up your business.

Had their portable card reader for a while now but have upgraded to their full account and its great.
Customer support can be a but slow despite the “priority 247” and like most similar businesses their chat “bot” is a bit useless however answers to queries were forthcoming. Debit card arrived next day
big thanks to Gianmarco for answering questions on email rapidly
