Been a user for almost a year now. Amazing platform. And, I get it for completely free through my brokerage.

If you're suspicious about them, try to find any unrealistic promises they make. They aren't selling any kind of secret; you don't need their platform to be successful. They just make trading simple and accessible for the average person.

Also, look at the brokerages they've partnered with. Clearly, some reputable companies.

Been a member for 4 months. Very informative and educational. Back testing option strategies has some limitation but they have addition entry filters others do not have. The API to TradeStation and others make an easier way to place and manage trades, even manual ones.

As a new options trader options alpha has been a great blessing to me. The platform offers strategies on how to set up bots and trades with calculated risk and high profitability. Kudos to all the team behind this platform!

Jack Slocum and Kirk Du Plessis remain active in Option Alpha. There is a promotion with Tradestation for low commissions/fees from both Tradestation and Option Alpha, and you get a cloud server active trading account for free as well!

OptionAlpha is one of the most reputable options trading sites. Kirk is running a high quality operation, with a lot of great content, videos and courses. The Subscription price is well worth it for what you get.

You can potentially lose. Try practice bots. You really have to understand option trading to win it. Most of the time the bots only work in bullmarket. If it's choppy or it takes a big loss. You will be out. Yeah it can win some small wins. But one big loss can wipe out most of your gains. it's the name of the game with options. You also have to worry about assignment. You make money with theta selling options but it's really slow. How safe is it. Trade only what your risking to lose.

The platform is pretty limited on indicators. They only offer what they have. Like MACD and RSI. They do have bot templates. Most of them are like 50/50 for wins. They also offer their studies. 60% chance of on SPY from the past. But past doesn't equal the future.

Its does monitor exits or entries. Backtest is kind of useless because the past doesn't equal future performance. The backtest are also limited.

You do not own the bots or data. The only thing you own is your wins and losses. They connect the bots via API so they never touch your money.

If your season option trader who knows options then go for it. If your brand new and don't trade options don't understand how they work I would stay away. I'm still looking for a good stock trading bot or crypto trading bot but I doubt they don't exist.

This is rich person hobby. Will this make you rags to riches probably no. The bots are situational and seasonal. As for me. What happened to me. Buh bye.

Community is nice and helpful. But trading is hard. either you make money or you don't. It's 50 50 coin toss. The MM's are against you. Casino wins most of the time.

Great platform for autotrading. You also have the option of paper trading which is great. It allows you to try your ideas, thesis, and concepts which you can then gradually move over to live trading.

I've been with OA for over 3 years - started off for the education - Leraning how to trade Options. Kirk's (The creator) next step was to develop an auto-trading platform - to help remove the emotion out of trading and just trade with set rules. I went in and subscribed as an Elite member in the early days - which I believe helped as an investment. I couldnt use the automated trading for a few years as I am based in the UK, now (at last!) the OA platform connects to US Brokers that will allow for UK residents. So I'm on board now and the Bot's are excellent - along with an amazing community of traders that have been developing these bot templates and sharing them - everyone working together! Amazing, the big banks are doing it, and now we can too! - autotrading is here for the retail trader! Just want to thank Kirk and his team!

Awesome website for auto trading, decent people

I'm wondering why there is no entry yet, Option Alpha is really THE alpha between the option trading websites. Tons of free education, easy to follow but still very professional and down-to-earth. I would like to thank Kirk (company CEO) for all the work he has done for the community. Currently there is a new service around automated bots for trading stock options. Please don't check those guys if you want to earn some money, because you're very likely to earn some ;)
