We ported over from AT&T and in took 7 phone calls and 7 day to get AT&T ro release numbers. May be a quirk as Consumer Cellular uses that network. CC people super pleasant, knowledgeable, commisserat... See more

I needed a basis flip phone and account for a relative. The website was very clear on the options and made ordering easy. A call to a rep on transferring the number was clear and understandable. After I got the phone and the transfer instructions from the old carrier, another call to Consumers got the transfer done in about 5 minutes and right the first time. Couldn’t have been better.
Very difficult to order online. My order was hard to complete. It took 3 attempts and 3 phone calls. The order was delivered by UPS . They left it in a bag attached to my gate. Overall I would recommend you find a CC retailer near your home.
Transferring my number over to Consumer Celluar was the easiest I have ever experienced. There was no language barrier and it was done quickly and painlessly.
I cannot call Consumer Cellular because I don't have a phone!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went out once again to buy a phone for the Iris base. None of the stores Consumer Cellular says has a phone for this base is true. I have gone to 2 Targets, Walmart & 2 Best Buy stores. None of the phones in their stores will work with the Iris base & most of the sales people who represented Consumer Cellular knew nothing about the base!
I would like a return label to be sent to me as soon as possible. I want to return this equipment. This has been one of the worst purchases I have made. I have never encountered so much trouble getting a cell phone activated for use. My previous phone service was cancelled on 2/6/26. I have been without phone service since that time.
To make matters worse, Online Chat has been unavailable all day 2/11/26! An email sent to Customer Support was not delivered due to full mail box or it won't be delivered at all. I want to return the equipment , no return address is provided on CC's website & a return label is anyone's guess if i receive it. Time to contact BBB!
I think what impressed me the most was until I was put on your service you kept in contact with me every day. It took over a week due to waiting on the company I left for Consumer Cellular.
Switching providers was much easier than expected. We received a physical SIM for my husband, my phone used an eSIM. Once we received the physical card, we called Consumer Cellular's customer service and walked us through the process. It took about 20 minutes.
Our coverage has been great. No interruptions.
We cut our bill in half.

Ian from the Arizona office was outstanding and help me with Verizon and applying my Sim card prior to that when I was waiting for my Sim card. There was a wonderful woman in Arizona and I can’t recall her name who is so helpful. I’m completely satisfied and so grateful to get rid of Verizon.

Both the sales rep and the tech assistant were excellent: knowedgable, friendly, and skilled. The price differential from my old carrier and CC is substantial. So far, so very good!!

My initial experience was with William. Very helpful and explained CC to me in detail. My interaction with Kalina was fantastic. She helped me through the setup and helped with a discussion with my previous carrier to clear matters with them. I am sure she spent more time with me than typical, but she did so with complete understanding and compassion. Kudos!!

My wife and I have had our phones for about 7 years and they just weren't up to it anymore. We bought 2 of the Google Pixel 10's and wow, what a difference. First of all, they were about half the MSRP work like a charm. Setup is really easy, but since we bought 2 at once, the QR codes came together and didn't differentiate which was which, so a quick call to CC and my very helpful assistant was able to email the codes separately. Great service. Very happy with Consumer Cellular and have been customers for at least 20 years.

It was a quick and easy process. I choose to get a new number, and keep my phone. It said I receive the new Sim card in 2-3 days, and I did. I switched because I able to save with CC.

I have an account for my brother-in-law who is in a nursing home. He is 100 miles away from us. Security on the account will only allow access via a code sent to his cell phone. He is unable to accept text messages. Consequently I cannot access the account and cannot monitor usage or charges. I have called Customer Service multiple times seeking resolution. They have told me they cannot help.

I signed up online, it couldn't have been easier.

the staff was very helpful, listened to my needs, what I wanted and did not want, gave constructive feedback and clearly provided options that reflected what I shared. The transferring of my phone service was quick and non-problematic. I didn't receive any sales pressure for what didn't apply to my specific needs and wants. Future options were clearly defined.

After 30 years with AT&T Wireless, I finally got fed up enough to switch to Consumer Cellular. So far we are very happy especially with their customer support. The only downside is that we travel internationally and are accustom to relying on AT&T International Day Pass to get unlimited data when abroad. Consumer Cellular doesn't have such a service so I took off one star. Bummer. Everything else is good and the price is right.

Anytime I deal with Consumer Cellular it is easy. They explain things well, are very polite, and are very helpful. Best thing is you speak to someone in USA!!

Jerome was incredible. He had a great sense of humor, he was efficient and so patient (I had two phones to activate). I would definitely it’s the best service I’ve gotten from a cell phone company, honestly one of the best I’ve received in general.

It was very simple to make a purchase online, and do a trade-in.
