You’re absolutely right, application technique and amount are key with the Plexaderm and it can take some trial and error to find what works best for each person. Using a very small amount and allowing it to fully dry before applying other products can help reduce cakiness and improve results. When using additional products, they should be water based. As oils break down the tightening effect that Plexaderm creates. Please note that results can vary from product to product. For best results, Plexaderm should be applied to clean, dry skin and allowed to fully set before applying makeup. Many customers also choose to mix a small amount of Plexaderm with their oil-free, water-based makeup before application, which can help achieve a smoother finish. We recommend applying gently (such as light dabbing motion) and allowing the Plexaderm to fully set for about 10 minutes and avoiding facial movements. We're happy Plexaderm is living up to the expectations as expected, however, very sorry to hear about your experience when using make up with it. Application is key to achieving the best results.
