Unacceptable Delay and Zero Communication from E.ON
*** In reply to their response to this review, I wrote to them 1 week ago. There is no reply. This is really frustrating.
I applied for an electricity contract in July 2025, scheduled to begin in October 2025. E.ON terminated my previous provider’s contract, but as of November 7, 2025—more than a month later—I still have no electricity supply from them.
When I contacted customer service, I was told: “As we are currently adapting our system to new regulatory requirements, it may be slightly delayed when you sign up. We therefore ask for your patience.” But I signed up nearly four months ago. What exactly is the definition of a “slight delay”?
I received no prior communication about this issue. I had to reach out myself to find out why the contract hadn’t started. This lack of transparency and service is extremely frustrating.
