stop wasting my time

i had shut my account years ago but i got an email today about my annual costs, so i try to log in, but find I had to create an account! how can you be sending me details of my annual costs if I don't have an account!!! please can someone explain what is going on? I had to create an account to tell you I don't want one! No customer service of course available. Can you shut my account and unsubscribe me completely so I never receive any more emails from you.

this speaks volumes about the company

Not only do Temu refuse to communicate with the company (Rakuten) they disagree with to sort out an issue for so many, but i had asked on many occasions through the exchange for them to stop addressing me as valued customer to Terrence and Christopher. Not only did they continue but instead of "valued customer", in the next email they referred to me as "customer". I'm sure they are finding it hilarious at their end, but I feel this reveals the overall pervading lack fo service and support for customers. Temu, just to let you know that I am raising the issue with cashback with Trading Standards in the UK

Temu couldn't care less about you

Your endless platitudes are boring. You clearly couldn't care less about resolving issues. You say "Please rest assured that your satisfaction is our top priority, and we will do everything we can to ensure this matter is resolved to your complete satisfaction. ". It clearly isn't your top priority. If that were REALLY true you would make further efforts. Things have not been fully resolve as Temu refuses to engage , talk and discuss with Rakuten. There is STILL an ongoing issue in that Temu purchases are not ending up on Rakuten dashboard. Temu blames Rakuten. Rakuten blames Temu yet neither of you are willing to talk and resolve this for ALL customers historically and going forward. What about everyone's future purchases?

no interest in resolving issues highlighted

email response to Christopher, senior customer "serice": What stuns me is that you in a senior advisor role have ZERO interest in resolving the disagreement you have with Rakuten: both of you saying that that each other is responsible. You are quite happy to let this issue slide and continue and for all future customers to suffer the consequences. Have you even escalated this, highlighted this to your company as an issue?

Why is it every other company I purchase via the Rakuten app, their cashback seamlessly appears on it, yet Temu's, I have had 5 out of 6 not appear. Are you perhaps intrigued to explore why that would be? Are you happy to just cut & paste your regular response to you send out. No wonder Temu has such a poor rating on Trustpilot. Each post I put on Trustpilot, I get the same cut & paste response. No doubt I will get the same from this review too. This si not service

Rakuten quite happy neevr to resolve issue with Temu and let us pay price

So, when I tell you that Temu's response to 5 cashbacks not appearing on my dashboard is this: "Regarding your query about the cashback you received, we want to clarify that the cashback program is governed by the agreement between you and the cashback platform. Unfortunately, Temu does not have the ability to influence whether the platform will issue cashback, the amount you may receive, or the ongoing status of any cashback claims. We recommend reaching out directly to the cashback platform for any assistance or clarification regarding your specific situation.", yet Rakuten claims that it has nothing to do with Rakuten, wouldn't you as a company like to clear up the disagreement you both have with oen another for the sake of your company?! What i find so puzzling, is that you are quite happy for me as your customer, not to ever receive what is due to me and you have zero interest in resolving the issue with Temu.

It is wholly unacceptable in your emails to have this as an option: "Take a photo of it in your open doorway". Why are Yodel STILL doing this?!! This is NOT a delivered parcel! thsi is leaving it in full view for theives to take. Stop tellinhg people parcels are delivered when you leave outside someones property! CLEARLY something is wrong with your site

Once again Rakuten are doubling down that it's in Temu's court if I get cashback. Temu are saying otherwise. this was Temu's reply sending me back to Rakuten "The cashback you received is governed by the agreement between you and the cashback platform. Unfortunately, Temu cannot interfere with or determine the amount of cashback you will receive or the progress of that cashback. To resolve any issues you might have, we encourage you to consult the corresponding cashback platform directly." Guess who is stuck in the middle as their tennis ball WITHOUT my cashback?? And yes Rakuten, i am following the link you previously sent "How to avoid missing out on Cashback". Everything I am doing on my end is correct. CLEARLY something is wrong with your site. Also the last two puchases, the claimed % amount I was meant to get did not turn up on my dashboard. Or here's another idea Rakuten - if you cared, communicate with Temu! You are obviously disagree with one another - clear it up with them and stop maing US suffer

Temu taking ZERO responsibility

forced to write to CEO second time:

Dear Mr Mikitani
I feel forced to write to you a second time.
I find it quite outrageous that a member of your senior customer service team Christopher has doubled-down on a response that I received from about 10 emails ago placing sole blame on Rakuten, while Temu has taken ZERO responsibility

I'm a member of the public and in good faith I go to a website like Rakuten which claims to have 15% Cashback from Temu. Here is a copy of that button:


There is proof that I've clicked the button from Rakuten. I have been awarded cashback before. You can see below that I was awarded on 18th Oct (still waiting for the 6th Oct):


However there are 5 purchases that I have made on Temu that, not only have I not been awarded the 15%, but they haven't even migrated onto the dashboard of the Rakuten app. Here are those purchases:
• 6th Dec, £19.89, PO-210-01931536824952710
• 24th Oct, £91.18, PO-210-13785553920632710
• 6th Oct, £28.99, PO-210-18252294474872710 (this one has migrated to Rakuten but showing as pending)
• 27th Sept, £28.99, PO-210-05882905951352710
• 20th Aug, £22.84, PO-210-03048087852152710
As you can see one of them dates back over 4 months!!
I make that a total of £191.89. So I calculate the 15% cashback you owe me to be £28.78, so your £10 consolation prize is not ok. In fact for all the hassle, I would expect this at a minimum to be ON TOP of what you owe me for all the endless chasing that YOU as a company should have been doing
Why have I not been awarded the amount for those 5 purchases? I have in the past. There was a purchase I made in October and I was awarded the cashback. Why was I awarded the 15% that time and not these other five times? To place blame on Rakuten is egregious!
You have made a CO-AGREEMENT with Rakuten. At some point Temu agreed to be on the platform Rakuten. It is a mutually beneficial agreement that you & Rakuten BOTH make money from. Right now, it’s at OUR expense. I am a member of the public. I have put good faith where I choose to purchase from. I have chosen Temu several times to purchase from and not some other sound platform because of the cashback promise. YOU are CO-REPONSIBLE with Rakuten for not HONOURING this PROMISE! I would have gone elsewhere to purchase what I needed to buy had I not been getting that cash back.

Plus I've spent hours chasing all of this with you & Rakuten. I shouldn’t be the one chasing this. YOU should be on the phone to Rakuten and go “listen, what is up? Why is this customer not getting the money that was promised to him through your app that we agreed to be part of on your platform. We expect our customer’s purchases to be honoured”. Have you done this? Why not?
Temu, together with Rakuten are making money off the members of the public fraudulently. This is not OK.
I'm deciding what steps to take next. I will be posting once again my review on Trustpilot again. I am considering if this is not sorted out properly of taking this to Trading Standards, the government platform for companies who are fraudulent, plus I found another website that deals with international Internet fraud which I will also be pursuing. I really hope I don’t have to go down these routes if possible as it is time-consuming but will do so if this is not sorted and an apology. I am also considering going directly through my bank aswell.
I also suggest that you have some quality control about the platforms like Rakuten that you CHOOSE as a company to be part of and ensure that these function properly. Is there anyone in your staff that deals directly with this? Rakuten are suggesting this is to do with your Affiliate Program and the last agent I spoke to said they would be referring it to them. Have they? Surely someone in your company KNOWS that these are not working. Rakuten works seamlessly with other companies – why not Temu? You can see in the screenshot I sent you that I didn’t have to chase any of the other compamies I got cashback from (Debenhams, Evri, Just Eat, Argos, Currys). Why is Temu the ONLY company I’m chasing cashback from?
If these partnerships are not functioning, then do us all a favour and come off Rakuten altogether, so some other poor unfortunate person doesn’t have to use part of their annual holiday to chase all of this

You think you are going to get the cashback? Think again!

I currently have 4 Temu purchases which I bought via the Rakuten app all claiming 15% cashback, none of which have migrated to my Rakuten dashboard. One of them is 4 months old and apparently I haven't waited long enough! Temu are blaming Rakuten, Rakuten are blaming Temu. Customer service of neither have left me in the lurch. Don't be fooled that you will get your cashback. You think you are going to get the cashback? Think again! Temu's response: "We are regret, but the cashback you received is a contract between you and the cashback platform. Temu has no control over whether the platform will issue a cashback, how much the cashback will be, or the progress of the cashback. We suggest you refer to the guide below and contact the platform's customer service center for a solution." AND Rakuten's response: "We see that TEMU has not reported this purchase to us yet. We’ll reach out to TEMU directly to help look into this for you. Most merchants begin reviewing our inquiries once the return period for your order ends. On average, it takes around 60 business days from the end of the return period to receive feedback. We understand that’s quite a wait, and we really appreciate your patience. Please know we’re doing everything we can to move things along. If TEMU decides to send us credit for your purchase, we’ll update you right away." Note the "IF"

Delivery Driver is a liar and timewaster. claimed parcel was "delivered" when I was teaching a class of children 10 miles away . i'm a teacher and live by myself. There was "photo proof" of him holding the parcel in front of my closed front door. I called local depot who called driver. They requested he return to deliver the parcel. i said how long will that be? they said an hour. he never returned. i'm now having to chase on their phone line kept in yet another queue

Customer Service don't even read issues

EDIT: and of course I get the "we couldn't give a crap about what you wrote cut & paste response from Evri saying to contact them which is what i've already done"

Below is what I sent to Evri Customer "service". Sophie (who should be sacked) is "dealing" with it. How on earth could they reply with "I'm sorry to hear your parcel still hasn't been located". They clearly lack the courtesy to even read people's issues. They simply don't care about you. And I believe most of these supposed 5 million reviews are BOTS!. Here is what i have sent and have had to escalate. Please don't reply me with the cut & paste nonsense as I've already contacted you. DEAL WITH IT PLEASE!!!

As agreed with Debenhams, they said to refuse delivery. (I attached proof from converstion with Debenhmans). The normal (and wonderful), Martin, my normal Evri delivery man did not come yesterday. Instead it was a (shady) couple who I intercepted as  they tried to deliver. I said I wanted to refuse delivery and for it to be returned. They seemed puzzled, didn’t know what to do and they called the depot to a guy named Marco/Marko? (HOW on earth would I possibly know this except if this si TRUE!) They passed their phone to me so I could speak to him. He said there were two options – either I arrange for it to be collected tomorrow. I said I couldn’t do that as I was working (I’m a teacher). He said the other option is that the delivery drivers return the parcel to the depot where it will be returned to sender. I chose the latter. I asked if I could take a photo to have evidence which they agreed (please see photos attached). I said, please can you make sure that this gets back to Debenhams. They agreed. What they have presented is a lie and you can check in with Marco from the depot to confirm.

YouGarden have not read the Consumer Rights Act 2015

You Garden (via Groupon) have not read the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which says that a refund needs to be given if claimed within 30 days especially when the tubers that I received were clearly rotten, mouldy and disintegrating. They were trying to push for a replacement which I didn’t want – I don’t trust a company that would try to sell such shoddy tubers. They refused a full refund and endless back & forth emails trying to only give me 50% refund. I eventually caved as I didn’t have the energy to argue anymore and instead of a refund, I was given Groupon credit. I don’t want credit. I WANT A REFUND, and the law is on my side thankfully. I have started a claim with Trading Standards and my bank.

Groupon not read the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Groupon (via You Garden) have not read the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which says that a refund needs to be given if claimed within 30 days especially when the tubers that I received were clearly rotten, mouldy and disintegrating. They were trying to push for a replacement which I didn’t want – I don’t trust a company that would try to sell such shoddy tubers. They refused a full refund and endless back & forth emails trying to only give me 50% refund. I eventually caved as I didn’t have the energy to argue anymore and instead of a refund, I was given Groupon credit. I don’t want credit. I WANT A REFUND, and the law is on my side thankfully. I have started a claim with Trading Standards and my bank. By the way, how did the awful Grace in your customer “support” get the job? She is clearly unqualified for this role.
