Watch the rates on weekends and holidays!!
I honestly struggled how to rate XE because I’ve been transferring with them, monthly, for years and when you do a transfer their service is very very quick.
However, on weekends and holidays they dramatically reduce their rates. So, Mon - Fri on work days I cannot recommend them highly enough. On weekends and holidays beware…

The market closes at weekends and on Bank Holidays so the banks do set the spread wider, this is why you see a worse rate over these periods.
