adored him for ages hehe larry’s my fav universal “monster” and the one i can rewatch forever and not get tired of x) even the shitty ass sequels ! which i still love cause at least he’s there ! it helps that im a werewolf girl for life 🐱

for larry in particular i love that he died i love that he’s suicidal i love that he has too many mental problems to name i love that he Can’t die anymore. he is THE tormented werewolf of all time and lon chaney jr KNEW this and loved him with all his big ole beefy (woofa) heart 😭

as for specific larrykat lore (LOL) i do have some ! instead of being hunted into the ice caverns during frankenstein meets the wolf man, wolf!larry passes out somewhere innocuous … only for a strange young american gal to find him on the road 😅 helloooo handsome ! good thing i was on my way to refurbish the frankenstein castle up the way as part of a post-war revitalization project :3 i want him to stick around because he’s handy and beefy and can totally help out with the castle (plus im lonely.) and larry DOESNT want to stick around but absolutely does. curse (that he obviously avoids telling me about) be damned, my boy can have an oblivious will-they-won’t-they like no other!

family matters

Gentle hands card a familiar path through his hair, and it is with this graceful gesture wherein Larry Talbot feels well and truly like a kid again.

It’s not solely this, though, although this is plenty; His good mood seems to be a culmination of little things. Half-asleep, Larry’s in heaven, his thoughts trailing about in sleepy, disconnected tangents. For one thing, there doesn’t seem to be really anything to fret about. Even if there was, he’s too comfortable to do the trouble of worrying. As another small miracle, the California sun finally learned remorse for its residents, as the temperature is miraculously bearable. Beaming down in a remarkably polite way, the sun warms Larry’s ruddy face, his loose limbs, brightening the back of his closed eyes. There’s music coming from afar, Artie Shaw, maybe, even though that doesn’t quite feel right. Larry hasn’t fixed the radio yet, he doesn’t know how, and the timing seems… off.
