⚔️Battle beneath the Gods Eye⚔️

The fight for the Iron Throne between King Maegor I Targaryen and his nephew Aegon the Uncrowned, the Prince of Dragonstone, where they faced both their dragons, Balerion and young Quicksilver.

Of course she didn't stand much of a chance against the Black Dread himself...

i used to think that ramsay will die on his own in a really mundane manner because his tyranny should not be rewarded with fanfare but i’ve changed my mind since then. i think he needs to be killed, maybe gruesomely, maybe not, but definitely in a battle/swordfight, especially over winterfell. he has burned down and destroyed winterfell and it needs to be restored. the wolves will come home, all roads lead to the same castle, the snow fell and the castle rose. i was surprised when i read somewhere that grrm had said to the producers of got that jon snow will rip apart ramsay and ‘eat his bastard heart’. that the wolves will kill his hounds. that starks will corner him and defeat him. but it makes sense to me now. he needs to be defeated, he needs to go out in a glorious battle, we need to see hope again (which is also why i believe the battle might take place at the end of twow but i digress) and this is the turning point from a storytelling perspective - one evil is defeated and the starks in one part have their home back. thus begins the dream of spring. i see your vision grrm. also, there is nothing banal about evil.

i understand all that shit about honor and knighthood and solemn vows but “kingslayer” is simply a bad insult. it sounds cool as fuck. might as well call him the landlord annihilator or the billionaire’s bane.
