It's my birthday today (23rd). Sorry for posting this late in the day. Whoops.

This day went better than the last year's bday. Largely due to not getting sick like last year. I had to work, but at least I wasn't under the weather.

Kind of sad remembering how last year MacGyver was still airing (it needed a Season 6!). I watched the Murdoc Season 5 episode last year on my birthday. Admittedly that yellow filter on that episode was not good to deal with while you feel somewhat feverish.

But that end scene between Mac & Riley was so worth it. I remember it fondly. 💙 So there was that silver lining. I wish Season 6 had happened to get the pay off that MacRiley deserved. Alas...

I had a small bday celebration with family this past Saturday. I chose Tiramisu cake (one of my favs) as my bday cake Guinness Blonde beer-- really Baltimore Blonde-- but sort of in the Guinness-style? It's what they had available, and in the end, it tasted great and everyone else liked it too.

Since my bday is close to St. Patrick's Day, I was in the mood to go for Guinness beer. I had a mixed Guinness (tan & blonde together) at a restaurant a few years ago and I enjoyed that. So that inspired the beer for this year's bday.

And it's one day closer to my friend and I going to the SPN Con in June. Crazy that three years have passed since the last time (2019). Looking forward to that! :)

Happy New Year!! I know I didn't post a Merry Christmas post. Was feeling under the weather, still am but getting better.

Anyway, Happy 2022! Wishing everyone a great New Year and if 2021 was not so good, hoping 2022 will prove better! Still New Year's Eve here, but thought I'd put this up early.

I wasn't sure how all my Midam reblogs would be received. Sorry for those who are unfamiliar-- It's one of my big interests now in terms of shipping. I still love Sastiel, but I mean-- Episode 15x08 for SPN-- that really set up an intriguing friendship between Michael & Adam. Thanks to those who've liked and reblogged my Midam-related reblogs. Makes me feel better about all the Midam reblogs one after another sometimes. I'm trying to add some non-Midam reblogs to change things up.

I'm excited to post one of my favorite chapters for "Everything Ends Here" in January. It'll be a canon-divergent one for the SPN episode "Faith."

Also hoping to finish a story that's more angsty than shippy, but it has both Sastiel & Midam (not sure if that combo in one story is really done?). It will be titled, "The Christmas Resurrection." Hoping to complete the story before winter is over? *blush*

Michael & Adam in SPN 15x08 💙 Interesting to see Michael suggesting Adam be his guide to spending time on Earth. Such a change from Michael in Season 5 who would probably prefer to stay up in Heaven if not for following through with the plan for the Apocalypse.

And MacRiley in Season 4. I had such hopes that Mac & Riley would get together officially. But then the show was sadly canceled. 😢

Tristin Mays (who plays Riley) is on Cameo though. I get tempted to ask her there what she thinks would have been the moment when she and Mac would have crossed the friendship line into being a couple.
