anistarrae talking reblog and doodle blog if twitter ends up exploding

HI im callum [any pronouns . 19]

drawings and interactions are from @anistarrae !

i post some doodles occasionally, talk of whatever is on my mind and reblog a bunch. nothing much in the way of interests, just whatever im into at the moment!

tags i use

- #gamezz.txt : this is any time i talk, i also use it for my art account

- #doodle : it’s in the name, art tag for smaller pieces

they won't tell you this in therapy but sometimes the best way to stop catastrophizing/anxiety is to interrupt your spiraling with "girl what the hell are you talking about"

It's not a cure but you have no idea how many times this image has helped me with my OCD

On sonic images that help with mental health, this one genuinely helped me more than i would like to admit

this one has legit helped so much with my mental and physical disabilities. Do you know how often some bullshit happens and I sigh and say "but we move"

the floating head of wisdom

Please don't fall victim to internet misinformation. There is no floating head. It's a regular horse, it's neck is just hidden due to the position of the camera. I made an image to help you understand the what's actually going on.

Thank you for the clarification

A reminder that sell-buy dates or best-used-by dates are not the same as expiration dates.

I love that a food bank is providing this info as they are experts in stretching food budgets and knowledgable in shelf-stable food items

So I followed the link to the website and found the longer list.

The website puts a link to the USDA site which links to foodsafety dot gov who really wants you to use the app, but you can bypass it.

Also a link to the Canadian government's advisory on best-before dates.

Both sites have links to pages that get more into food storage.

The pokemon fandom has got to have some of the strongest "the average person probably only knows the formulas for olivine" I have ever personally witnessed. I'll be talking with some pokemon fans and they'll go "and of course we all know how Scrimblofax absolutely overturned the meta because of his signature ability" and proceed to show me a picture of a pokemon I've never seen or heard of in my life.

When someone says "I like a Pokemon!" It can mean so many different things:

- the mainline games

- the anime(s)

- the Trading Card game/ TCG pocket

- Pokemon Go

- Plushies/merchandise

- spin offs

And it goes further from there! If you like the mainline games do you play them for the Story? The mons themselves? The gameplay loop? Shiny Hunting? Contests? The meta? You can go so deep with any of these categories that when someone hears you talk about it they'd go "wtf?? They are a hardcore fan!" And you can still know nothing about any of the other categories. A meta player will say things that scare and frighten me but I can whip out a power point presentation about shiny odds and hunting methods.

Being a Pokemon fan can mean anything at this point. At least you can still ask any sort of fan what their favorite Pokemon is.

today the kids in my art class started calling the example pics I showed them AI and it made me so fucking sad dude. they weren't AI. they were just really cool cardboard houses and stuff people had made, and the kids were convinced they couldn't be real because they were, like, impressive crafts and well-lit photos. fuck

the thing that makes me really sad about it is that these were examples of things they could do, like ideas for how to put stuff together to get the effect they wanted, and they were like, there's no way anyone could make something that cool. there's no way a human being made something that good.

like don't get me wrong I'm glad they're thinking critically and all, and it's challenging me to provide really clear sources which is a good thing, but like. it sucks. it sucks so bad. I don't like how much AI has degraded their faith in human creativity!!
