Henry tutors Bunny sometimes (or maybe he tried in the beginning…annoying #saviorcomplex). He quickly discovers what a distracted student Bunny is; always going on tangents, interrupting Henry mid sentence to chirp up with something totally irrelevant, laughing and joking around when Henry’s trying to command respect and authority (he wants to be the Julian Morrow to someone, yk?) Henry is not a violent person by choice, but by NATURE…..Bunny brings out this very stern and irritable side of him so expect very very stern Professor Henry, pulling and twisting Bunnys ear, hitting his knuckles with a ruler, gentle but firm slaps on Bunnys empty head.
“You can’t discipline the mind without disciplining the body,” Henry says.
Bunny’s reactions to “discipline” are a mix of humorous outrage, exaggerated pain and petulant whining. He finds it absurd and laughs it off most of the times, but he LETS Henry play stern teacher because he knows Henry likes it 😏🤓 but sometimes Bunny gets in a mood bcs his moods are very unstable, and he’ll be all angry and petulant and rubbing where he’s been hit. After the lesson Henry will give him a treat— a chocolate from the drawer, an awkward pat (a kiss on the cheek?)
And then Bunny may grin and say, “See? You’ve got a soft spot for me after all,” or he may demand more attention before he can forgive Henry.

If winterbunny were in modern times, they would be this kind of annoying couple that keeps breaking up every few weeks and Bunny would keep deleting and adding then deleting again their pics on instagram. Sometimes Henry would learn that Bunny broke up with him again by Francis calling him asking why Bunny deleted pics this time.

I tend to villainize him a bit too much sometimes 😭🥀 my theory was he was fucking pissed off as hell and wanted an excuse to kill Bunny. So he planted the diary on purpose where Bunny would find it (as you said this hoe knew damn well Bun’s a nosy klepto). But I think your version is more objective and better, for sure. Because I am WinterBun Besties truther #1.
Ong so much discourse about why bunny had to die. I feel a bit scared bcs I honestly seconded some of these takes and I do stand by them still but the main reason was obviously the literal threat? Lmfao.

1. No he wasn’t killed bcs of a grilled cheese um or even bcs he was “sexist” or “homophobic”. They might have each of them mentally used these reasons to justify the murder or being indifferent to Bunny’s suffering but that was not the CAUSE.
2. He was first and foremost killed bcs of the threat he posed to the group. This should be very very very obvious I mean it’s. How do you miss this point 🩷
3. I do believe, between Henry and Bunny, there were other factors we probably didn’t/werent meant to understand? Henry killed Bunny to save his own skin BUT ALSO because Bunny rejected him and his authority and Henry needs control. Henry is NOT a charismatic cult leader by any means, I don’t think he was a sniveling evil scheming bastard okay, he’s just a kid with grandiose ideas okay.
Now we know he has anger issues he represses, we see/hear about him losing his shit multiple times. (Three times to be exact I think). He also isn’t very confrontational until provoked. Which means his anger probably simmers until the provocation which sends him over the edge: so he probs holds grudges. He could not stand Bunny by the end and that’s a simple fact, maybe bcs he realized he’d spent literal fortunes and time and effort on someone who genuinely didn’t care for him/his well being, wasn’t willing to mould himself in the SLIGHTEST for Henry despite all his sacrifices, and I think there’s an angry bitter revenge factor there. We even see bro gloat after he kills Bunny 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔 joking about HELL?? KILL YOURSLEF HENRY anyway . I think a personal revenge factor was involved between the two of them
BUT this was private, and not extended to the group. So their MAINreason for k illing Bunny is still the fact that his dumbass was threatening their safety 😭😭😭😭😭
