This is what hieroglyphs and figures in ancient Egyptian temples looked like before their colors faded. They were recreated using a polychromatic light display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, following thorough research.

If this is your kind of thing, new zealand has the world's first life sized re-creation of an Egyptian temple for an idea of how it would have looked back then

edit:

i feel like the photos didn't do the size justice

from my knowledge of ancient egypt, this looks to be an imagined replica of one of the outdoor temples of akhenaten and nefertiti, intended on worshipping the god aten, as akhenaten was attempting to instill a sort of monotheism with the sun disc god the one true god above all. some of the heiroglyphs even seem to depict the building process of the temple itself.

shout out to the mutuals ive never spoken to. i am sitting in the same room as you doing my arts and craft while you read your book. we are vibing and chilling.

Watching the healthy conflict resolution in newer Dragon Age games is crazy because it used to be the little things that would tear your found family apart. If Alistair had told Morrigan that water is wet she would have probably just straight up killed him. The Amell Estate could be spewing furniture out of shattered windows and unholy screams might be emanating from inside and some tired NPC would be like "yeah the spirit healer told the lyrium warrior that a hot dog is a sandwich again."
