I haven’t watched anime regularly since high school and I forgot how obvious it is when they don’t have the budget to animate fight scenes lol
You watch Naruto and one fight scene takes five episodes of staring at still images yelling at each other to build up to. It’s like watching a very fancy PowerPoint presentation at times.
My favorite is when they have a beautifully animated fight in one episode and then the rest of the season looks like stills from a an old Charlie Brown TV special.

I'm often really dedicated to the visual quality and authenticity of the memes I make, but like idk if I could ever make another human being care about that. I used the proper font and color picked the correct color and sized everything correctly and used the alignment tool to get the spacing right and redrew the nebula background and spent way too long messing with the drop shadow settings to mimic the original text. Starting off my challenge to make 1 zine every week until march, it’s some of my favourite baby birds!
I’m doing this challenge to try to kick my habit of overthinking and never starting stuff, though I will admit I’m posting this now on my self-appointed deadline day because I spent the whole week overthinking, gotta start somewhere I guess. Once I forced myself to just sit down and just start drawing it only took me an hour which makes me feel a bit silly
