Some final renders of the arena I made for a TCG. I had to be really basic and just design some magical floating stones with magic runes.
Somehow I am really happy with how this turned out. Just a wide open space background in the game. 🌠
Some mana crystal ideas. We played around for a while on the thought of very simple purple 3D borders with a detailed crystal in the middle. 💎
3D concept designs for TCG arenas. I love cobblestone so this was fun. :)
Another that was based on destructive vines crumbling the arena itself.
Dino boneyard arena. 🦖🦴
We tried to find floor sets that actually played nice with the card layout and UI. 🧐
Some arena concepts I created at another company. Actually really liked the geo formed rock one if it was given a bit more love and editing.
Another had to be some form of a crystal rock formation. 💎
This one was the competitive (Guardian statue) arena. Added a real Canadian flower to the fields which are called Trilliums. I love adding those guys into anything I can. 👀
Some old stuff I dug up on my first serious indie game. Still loved these little guys. 🥹
Got to work on some rare skins for different robots and my first arena map which was a soccer based arena.
Got to also model the don't touch me cubes. 💢
Some small sketching on how abilities or effects may work on a robot.
Steam badges. 🤖
Some older concepts when I joined a TCG and we were in the developmental stages of the game itself. We were trying to figure out if we wanted a robot companion to give you guidance and mana indicators.
I was in charge of changing the iconography and symbolism of the elemental types. Instead of typical elements, we were going for a more physical and spiritual approach.
Also got to explore some of the badge upgrade ideas for your main character. 🤔
Some final concept sketches that required me to produce some visual ideas for a hearth and altar scene that a player could use. These were the initial sketches done for a small indie developer that created a fantastic little cottage core witch game called 'Witchy Life Story'. You can get it here. ✨Witchy Life Story✨
Went through some color phases. These were the finalists.
Some black and white concepts and visual interior design for how these two rooms would feel or behave. 🤔 There was a lot of fun back and forth for how the house would be structured, and how the player could put collections on different spots. 🔮🌺
Personal illustration that I animated in blender. I love looping calm animations. Was fun to take layered planes of my image and turn it into a semi-3D animation. Blender is surprisingly good at being easy to understand once you get the jist of it.
This was also a semi-gift to a friend who created 'Taums'. They are the cute owl-like creature that sleeps peacefully and is her character. Mine is the big snake sunbathing in the tree. :'D
I love drawing and concepting out these large creatures that live in a abandoned factory that leads to the netherworld. They were a great idea for creature concepts.
Creature Concept - Chognath It's floating protrusion above it's head will hover above victims, as if to mark them for Chognath to track and hunt down. Known to be blind and cumbersome, it finds it's prey through powerful smell receptors, or temperate changes. It's front talons are designed to specifically touch and feel around it's environment. --- Chognath can also place most of it's movement and weight on it's legs and fore leg areas; It has been known to stand up on it's haunches while listening, or searching for children to protect.
Original sketches for the ideas of what this creature could be composed of.
