I’ve noticed it’s become difficult for me to write commentary on every single headcanon, and because of that I’m leaving a lot in the inbox as I don’t feel like I can do it. But since the headcanons are amazing and I want to continue this blog, I’ve decided to stop with writing a short comment on the headcanon and instead just leave a . so that it can still post. Aside from that, I am getting a good amount of headcanons, and all are amazing, so the blog is doing great. I’ve noticed an activity spike and I’m glad for all the new people finding this blog. I hope you continue to enjoy it, I’ll keep it running for as long as possible <3
Hello everyone! Since we are entering the holiday season, I wanted to lay out rules for how I will handle headcanons surrounding holidays. The short answer is I will be accepting headcanons from any holiday. Since this blog is focused on headcanons from the characters, not the actual creators behind them, I see no problem in allowing people to believe their favorite characters celebrate the same holiday as them. This could cause some issues, especially regarding religious holidays, so here is how I will handle that. If I receive a headcanon about a holiday I don’t know the customs of, I will most likely assume it is an accurate representation, considering I don’t have the time to research every holiday there is in depth. If you feel a headcanon misrepresents a holiday you personally celebrate, you are allowed to criticize it and share what you think is inaccurate. You are NOT allowed to attack the person who sent it. If you send a headcanon that has a specific day it occurs on, I will attempt to have it posted before or around the holiday, but I can’t guarantee that. And finally, if a creator has explicitly stated they do not feel comfortable with their character being shown celebrating a specific holiday, you are not allowed to send one that includes that character celebrating that holiday. The only example of this I can think of for this is Etho does not celebrate Christmas. I am unsure if he is comfortable being portrayed as if he does, but I would prefer you to not show him celebrating it because of that. That’s all I have to say for now, happy holidays!
