Wow, you really must be seeing a lot of terrible fandom posts.
we're on tumblr
theres a line between showing attraction to fat bodies and fetishization and this fandom has completely jumped over the line right back into fatphobia with the way people talk about ray/coopers body + straight up making chaser jokes
yeah idc the "showing up fat and wearing jeans" joke was never funny bc fat was the punchline and people should have woken up when others started jumping in to agree w the original sentiment and punch down on ray/cooper "wait, why are ppl being fatphobic on my post? 😰" bc you made a fat joke. like what did you expect? are you stupid? these jokes dont exist in a vacuum
(mind you cooper hoffman isnt even fat!)
I went to Mad At You Island and I killed and killed and killed and killed
I don't love that every time a famous artist turns out to be a fucking disgusting piece of trash loser evil shitstain that everyone always scrambles to say WELL THEIR ART WAS ALWAYS MID AND BAD ANYWAY. like dude just reckon with the fact you can't judge someone's moral fiber based on the art they make or the clothes they wear or the way they speak or fucking anything anything at all
the “fuck canon everything is made up do whatever you want forever” approach to fandom can be fun in small doses but i find that subscribing a little too hard to that attitude can lead to this belief that serious engagement with and analysis of a text is an act of no fun self-flagellation when that couldn’t be further from the truth. analysis is literally fun
not really about tlw but do you like ransom canyon? i watched it recently and i think lucas is the only character i actually care about
anon being asked about ransom canyon just made my night lol. do i like ransom canyon? its hard to say... define "like". is it a good show? absolutely not. did i enjoy watching it? ...yeah, a little actually. like i get why ppl watch days of our lives and read the western paperback erotica you find on the bottom shelves at walmart now. anyway, lucas was the most interesting character to me despite all the frustrating, tropey shit going on lmfao. hes still somewhat grounded in a way and hes a real cutey. (also helps that its garrett and his acting is one of the only two things praised about that show)
