she/they pronouns. fun fact i’m allergic to grass.

he had to jump in the ballpit to cool off after getting all airplane ears over a treat puzzle that proved a little too advanced

he's done this a few times now. the ball pit actively soothes him when he gets mad over puzzles. i could learn something from this

the page not found design for the national museum in warsaw. because they have this painting and they're bragging

my corner store guy is a 50 year old man who's my best friend in the world and recently he was like "you're too pretty to be single I have some nephews you should meet. very handsome!" and I was like "a niece might be more up my alley" and he just got more excited and said "ah even better! I was overselling my nephews but my nieces are very beautiful"

OP the tags!!

"? No" is such a foundational linguistic construction to my psyche. a hieroglyph. it should be a standard emoji

smart people of tumblr help pls

what the fuck is the unit circle

and what is pythagoras identity

and like i get trig and soh cah toa mostly

but wtf?

ok i’m not very good at explaining things but here’s my attempt at the unit circle (i have no idea what’s up with pythagoras identity btw it’s been a hot minute)

visual 👍 (30= orange, 45= red, 60=purple, it goes by 15 degrees)

each quadrant has the special right triangles (so 1st quadrant x = cos 30, 45, 60, 90; if that makes sense)

so let’s say we wanted to find the cosine and sine of 30 on the unit circle

to find cos 30 and sin 30 we use the values (i forgot what they’re called uhhh) on a 30-60-90 triangle and solve using soh cah toa

like this:

you add negatives when either the sin or cos (or both!!) value fall into a quadrant where they have negative values (quadrant 3: x=-1, y=-1)

for tangent you divide the two (sin/cos)

and here’s a unit circle example of all the tangent values (not color coded unfortunately)

sorry if this didn’t make much sense, i’m not that good at explaining and i’m also a student myself

genuinely what do i do cause i may or may not have gotten lazy and waited until the weekend to do an assignment, but the assignment requires you to record yourself talking to a partner (due today technically for some odd reason)

i emailed my teacher but she may or may not be on a flight back from europe

so do i talk to myself or wait it out?

Objects as spaceships, by Eric Geusz

My favorite is the fidget spinner space station. It almost feels like someone designed it first and then fidget spinners came out and now everyone laughs at it… instead of the other way around.

It’s Eric! He was one of my best friends in highschool!

He also does series of space cats, and one of the ones floating upside down and looking at you is based on my cat Ginger :D

The kitty herself, Ginger!

He’s a super cool dude and seeing his art on tumblr is nuts!

God yeah I will hype him every chance I get lol!

O love how the one based on the sriracha bottle is still very clearly that but now with FIRE

to start with I thought it was mocking real art from real franchises with what it looks like, it’s very accurate
