What have I been doing while trying not to panic that the new semester starts on tuesday? Helping friends get Borderlands cosplays together (Salvador and Moxxi. Also have a Maya and if I actually get mine finished, Axton.). Apparently, everyone so far has assumed the pink "quilted" fabric (for Moxxi coat lining) was a lucky print find. No. No it wasn't. Handpainted that (and everything else) myself, woop woop.

So, some of you may remember that I was putting together a 1940s casual Wonder Woman cosplay for San Japan (where I work as part of the staff--Lieutenant at the Information Desk (and Lost and Found and Merchandise), thus the headgear/walkie in the first pic).  I didn't remember to get any pictures on my own, but my friends are fantastic and came and found me :)  I plan to do more pictures of this one later on (and to wear it so much more) because I love it so much.

I had such a fabulous time at this year's San Japan and can't wait for the next one <3

Lipstick test (nope, too blue, back to the store I go, pretty much no other make up on...I still need to get a waterproof eyeliner), wig test (this thing gets awfully unruly, so need to buy a spray in conditioner/detangler for it), and hat placement test (still needs the star in the centre) for Wonder Woman costume. Skirt just needs a hem and it's all set to go. And I think I decided to wear my tentacle hat on Friday...need to put an outfit together around it. Emphasis on put together, not totally make new.

Vaguely the costume set my group is fixing up for our next con.  I sorely can't remember the details on the fluttershy dress at all, but it is yellow!  And I know that there are possible pins/flowers going onto the sweater. And the shoes are two toned and have 3d flowers popping off them...and yeah.  And Rainbow Dash's I have no idea the plan for the hair or if we've procured rainbow socks and how long the shorts are.  And for mine...I need to finish the scarf and the book bag.  *nods*

I needed to draw something super simple and fast.  Super sick and having to go to another aggravating day of work today.  Was trying to calm nerves, but vaguely made them worse by realising that I actually need to finish my stuff and that I have to buy my ticket at the con because I was dumb and misread the pre-reg cut off and that I can't cash my big paycheck until after July 1st and that I need a real job and that I need to apply for grad school if it's happening this year and not next and I...

I just need to get my shit together, for lack of better terms.  Maybe begin figuring out this whole life thing.
