waaah how do you come up with the outfits in your art?
I've been drawing clothing for many years and slowly expanded my range of things to add and learned what shapes I like. I never tried to do that, it just happened. Now clothing just kinda happens, I do have an idea of something I want to add beforehand but it's not something I consciously try. It's just something I built up over the years, you can do that too by spending a lot of time with the way other people design characters and how clothing worked in history, eventually you find things you like.
Personally I like to put a lot of emphasis on the shoulders, sleeves and waist, it's just what I enjoy.
