Treat Thursday/Ficlet Friday

Thank you @summersaints for the tag.

I only have one thing because my mind decided to create something at six in the morning two days ago. It's for my Part 3 and deals with Rhage/Aemond. Right after their first kiss.

“No, no.” Rhagerys touched his lips. He could not feel them since he still wore his gloves. “I-" He quickly pondered on what just happened to him and what was just asked of him. "I liked it.” “You “liked” it?” Disdain dripped from Aemond’s voice as he stared towards Rhagerys.  “No, well yes, but I did not mean it in that way.” Rhagerys started to remove his gloves. “It happened so quickly, I did not get a full impression on how I should truly react.” To Aemond, he sensed a form of a provocation in Rhagerys’s flippant words. He squared his shoulders and walked back up to the taller man. “Then,” He reached his hands up and—in his mind—roughly took a hold of Rhagerys’s face. But the way a quirk of a smile appeared on his cousin's lips, Aemond was not so sure. “I shall have to kiss you again.” “Only you would feel the need to rise to a challenge that does not exist.” Rhagerys easily let Aemond guide his head to be lowered. “For once though,” His face was mere inches away from Aemond’s. “I do not mind being put in my place.” “Stop talking.” Aemond hollowly warned. What little distance was between the two young men was erased as he lifted his head up and captured Rhagerys’s lips in his once more.

This all came about because all I could think was how upset Aemond would be if Rhagerys went ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ after being kissed by him.

Love Rhagerys ❤️❤️❤️

Give the girl to me to wife,” he purportedly told his brother. “Who else would take her now?” Instead King Viserys sent him into exile, never to return to the Seven Kingdoms on pain of death.

I have struggled with this one, especially for Nymeria. Since she doesn't have a real face claim, I have opted for a pic of Katheryn Winnick cause I feel she is the one that is closest to how I imagine Nymeria.

She is called by her family Desert Rose, so that is the first flower that came to mind.

It symbolises resilience, inner strength and enduring love stemming from its ability to thrive in harsh conditions while also representing good fortune and hope.

Truth be told, her monicker comes from the crystal know as Desert Rose, or Sand Rose (very appropriate considering she is a bastard of Dorne).

Leaving this aside though, she would be a Hyacinth. This flower has different meanings depending on the culture, so I looked at the greek myth concerning its origin: love, devotion, loss, grief and rebirth.

No pressure tag: @emilykaldwen @darkwolf76 and @exitpursuedbyavulcan and whoever else wants to play!

Thanks @ladylokianna for tagging me.

Things that made me grateful this week:

  • being back in London, cause I love my family but I need my space
  • my cat, who has been on holiday in Italy for two months and with whom I am finally reunited. He's been the best boy ever traveling back with me from Rome to London with overnight stop in Paris. He was deeply displeased by the hotel room though...

And anyone else who wants to join :)

Here below the adorable boy 🥰

Thank you @mermaidslabyrinth for the tag.

Daenera Velaryon - She is called Nightshade/Moonflower by Aemond, so I associate those with her.

Nightshade: Silence, falsehood; dark thoughts, scepticism, truth and death. There is also the Enchancters Nighshade that means: Spells, witchcraft, sorcery Moonflower: Dreaming of love

Dogbane: Deceit, falsehood Thornapple/Datura: Disguise, deceitful charms, Calamity;"I dreamed of thee"

I couldn't restrain myself to only one flower per character.

So pretty!!!

Get to know your moots

Thanks @mermaidslabyrinth and @zeciex for tagging me, this one was fun to do, sorry I got to it so late!

1) The origin of your username

It's a combo. Lyssa is what I used to be called when I first moved to Ireland cause they couldn't pronounce my name. Elisa is my second name and the name of my granny.

2) I will always order this food

Well it depends on the restaurant. I have a soft spot for a steak, Denver cut, cooked blue. I also can't resist ordering meat dumplings when they are on the menu, with pork being my all time fave.

Fattoush and hummus in Middle Eastern restaurants, and I have a strong bias towards French soft cheeses.

3) Overused emoji

I don't really have a favourite ... 🤦🏽‍♀️

4) Current favorite show/movie/book?

Show: Stranger Things. I should be boycotting it... may the Gods forgive my weakness.

Movie: Palestine 36

Book: Children of Gods and Fighting Men

5) Song on repeat

Given the season: Carol of the Bells and Merry Pagan Folks (pagan version of a very famous Christmas carol)

6) Last thing you hyper fixated on?

the layout of the Red Keep and Aemond's room... I am obsessed with trying to map it out in a way that makes sense even if I know it's impossible cause it's a set :D

7) Oddly specific thing that brings you joy?

The Full Moon and Thunders.

8) iPhone wallpaper

A pic I took in 2024 from my favourite panoramic bar in London.

9) What smell makes you happy?

Star Jasmine. One day, when I have my own place I will have one.

10) Morning, night, or other type of person?

I became a morning person and I really enjoy it, I enjoy having an hour for myself before the day begins.

11) What's your work/profession?

Currently I work in a Human Rights Organisation.

No pressure tags my lovelies, sorry if you have been tagged already, @ladylokianna @darkwolf76 @emilykaldwen @ewanmitchellcrumbs
