I once said in a Modern AU tag game many moons ago that Rowan rides an electric scooter to work (where he was apparently an exotic veterinarian??) because he's a huge nerd. This 100% still tracks because he's still a giant nerd and that will never change. He has a little helmet and everything to protect his noggin. He's very environmentally friendly, and also just likes the feeling of riding down the street without being cooped up inside a vehicle. I guess. Lol.
But for those times he does need four wheels and a roof, he has a Toyota Prius. A rather outdated one. Silver like his hair. Boring. Are there better EVs on the market? Yeah. Is he gonna buy one? No. Like his clothes, Rowan won't replace his car until it's on its last leg and has holes in it (that he can't otherwise repair with duct tape and by the way I'm saying that from personal experience).
Anyway, picturing Dorian rolling up in his Maserati or something next to Ro on his lame scooter like, "get in loser we're going shopping" lmao
Varien is probably a terrible driver, let's be real. BUT when he's not being a passenger princess, he has a Jeep Wrangler with no roof and no doors because he likes to feel ✨wild and free✨ . He probably gets pulled over for speeding and generally reckless driving, so more often than not Lace is the one behind the wheel if they're in any kind of civilized area. But when they're out on the country roads or taking a trip somewhere, he's definitely doing a whole lot of offroading.
And because I like motorcycles, he has a dirtbike too just for funsies. As much as I would love it, this boy cannot rock a Harley Davidson. So he gets one of those annoying little things that you can hear buzzing down the road from a mile away, if you can't already see it because it's an obnoxious shade of yellow.
