Soulmate au where you have a mark the first place you and your soulmate touch, right?

Robby has been working with dennis for months now, they've touched plenty of times, and nothing has happened. Despite whatever weird infatuation he has with his much younger student, a soul bond is not the cause.

Except, robby completely fails to notice that he's been wearing gloves every single time he and whitaker touch. Every. Single. Time.

Imaging his horror, shock, and absolute mortification when he goes to grab dennis' arm to tell him something, and it fucking lights up.

Bright gold, in the exact shape of robby's hand over his forearm, glowing the same as robby's own palm. Right in front of the nurse station and half the staff.

Silence, for half a second, then all hell breaks loose.

Thoughts on The Pitt s2 e2

  • Huge improvement from episode 1! Very pleased
  • Cassie is such a good doctor. I feel like she’s always on top of her shit
  • Kwon clearly has no interest in working in the ED and is only here to fulfill a requirement. But I feel like a good doctor would take every opportunity to pay attention and learn, and at the very least give her patients the respect of not being on her phone. I have no idea how people like her.
  • Dennis absolutely GLOWING and his little stethoscope adjustment at Robby’s praise. Oh he wants that man so bad.
  • No Kiara :(
  • Ok I might need to invest in some Crashtos stocks
  • God it breaks my heart that Mel struggled to think of something she likes to do, and even then it was only something she used to do. My biggest hope for this season is that she gets to find out who she is outside of being a doctor and a sister/caretaker, and hopefully make some friends.
  • Robby with that baby is killing me 😫 I made it my pfp lol
  • Why doesn’t Al Hashimi want the doctors she’s about to be in charge of to like her? “I’ve never been named in a lawsuit” to a nervous Mel and “I’ve heard all about you” to Langdon. She really seems to lack people skills.
  • Mel remembering “Captain Scurvy” and Langdon remembering that Mel would like the lights off. It’s been ten months! And they knew each other for one day!! If that’s not evidence of two people being immediately, inextricably drawn to each other, I don’t know what is.
  • I hope everybody finds out about Robby and Noelle and it is uncomfortable for all
  • Robby suggests that Al Hashimi do the vaginal exam instead of Trinity. Does Robby know about Trinity’s trauma or is he just picking up on her strong emotions related to this case? I don’t think she would have told him willingly.
  • Dennis and Victoria friendship!!!
  • Yes Victoria, get Ogilvie’s skeevy ass!

If my doctor told me she was gonna use an AI app to do her job for her, I’d be asking for another doctor. Especially if I was in the US where you have to pay to go to the hospital. Healthcare is a very human driven field and should be done by humans. I think it’s also telling that Dr. Al-Hashimi has never been sued. Is it because she’s not doing enough hands on work with patients directly? Like Whitaker already pointed out that MEDICATION was charted wrong by the AI. She’s going to get someone killed. AI has zero place in medicine. If you need a robot to do your job for you, you should consider a different profession.

Work for the government and dont get sued even if malpractice happens. So Al-Hashimi isnt just "good at her job so there for doesnt get sued" she hasnt been exposed to that risk.
