What's 'Cats! Animated'? (on hiatus, will come back to it in the future)

Glad you asked! It's a personal non-profit fan passion project. It's focused on trying to transfer the world created by T. S. Elliot ( 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats') and Andrew Lloyd Webber ('Cats the Musical') to the medium of animation. I strongly believe that 'Cats' would work great as an animated series. At this moment, 'Cats! Animated' is an exercise in creating character designs, scripts, storyboards and unique locations. Right now I'm still learning, but hopefully one day I'll be able to fully animate something for all 'Cats' fans out there!

Cubs of Mycenae 🦁

The coat accidentally gained the whole lore. It was made out of lion's skin (since lions are symbol of Mycenae) for king Atreus. Later, it was retaken by Agamemnon along with the whole polis. After the Trojan War, Aeigsthus had it for a brief while, until it was passed onto Orestes.

The problem with Atreus' lion mane coat is that it's not only very heavy, but also very warm. Hence why it was designed as winter attire. Here Agamemnon decied to try it on, while Atreus was busy with hecatomb. Naturally, Menelaos wanted to join :)

Obligatory Furry Iliad reference in the background:

Despite me planning to make this into a quick sketch it grew into a lazily rendered piece, so here's some inspo I used:

Bonus, because I'm evil (iykyk)

Very random poll but

gotta go with Agamemnon here bc I refuse to believe that he wasn't ragebaiting clytemnestra when he responded like this to her telling him she tried to off herself

Can you believe that I actually used this as an argument during a debate with my professor today? ha ha

LIKE. BRUH. YOUR SPEECH WAS LIKE MY ABSENCE: LONG STRETCHED OUT IS SUCH A WILD THING TO SAY EGEWHGEWR

My new favorite genre of picture is a very special thing that most animals (and humans!) do: face nuzzling as an act of greeting/comfort/intimacy. thank God that this is happening all over the world right now

Isn’t it wonderful?!

had to continue the compilation:

Look!! Look at all the beautiful animals touching foreheads!! ❤️

I approve ^^
