Cubs of Mycenae 🦁

The coat accidentally gained the whole lore. It was made out of lion's skin (since lions are symbol of Mycenae) for king Atreus. Later, it was retaken by Agamemnon along with the whole polis. After the Trojan War, Aeigsthus had it for a brief while, until it was passed onto Orestes.

The problem with Atreus' lion mane coat is that it's not only very heavy, but also very warm. Hence why it was designed as winter attire. Here Agamemnon decied to try it on, while Atreus was busy with hecatomb. Naturally, Menelaos wanted to join :)

Obligatory Furry Iliad reference in the background:

Despite me planning to make this into a quick sketch it grew into a lazily rendered piece, so here's some inspo I used:

Furry Iliad AU // The Duel ⚔️

Back in December, I was bored during a lesson, so I sketched out the duel from Book 3 of the Iliad,

Unfortunately, I don't have an A3 scanner. I did my best to assemble the pieces, however it didn't went as well as I hoped. Here are the pieces:

You can spot some cameos in the background :)

  • Menelaos - bull
  • Paris - red deer

Furry Iliad AU // The Curse of the Palladium 2/2

TW Minor blood

You can interpret this comic any way you want, but this is what I had in mind while creating it:

Disclaimer: I am preparing myself for something bigger, hence why I keep messing around with the narrative/timeline in these mini-comics. F. ex. the hallucination part isn't included here, because the whole matter is planned to be handled as a stand-alone plot point, paradoxically more focused on Diomedes. His journey leads him later to the decision to go relatively easy on Odysseus during palladium divorce (more like palladium argument here).
In other words, Diomedes gives Odysseus the excuse on a silver plate, in order not to kill him. And Odysseus plays along, already indirectly pleading for forgiveness, because he does not want to be alone.

Do you have a Cassandra design? You might have posted it already and I just didn't see it but if you have a design I'd love to see

Hello! This ask got buried underneath the others, I fear; apologies for late answer.

I sat to finish her design yesterday. I plan to color her digitally soon, but this is all I've got for now TT

Here are the old concepts from my previous sketchbook (meaning these are older than September and not scanned)

And even though most Priamidae are based on red deer, I've been searching for inspiration in different types of deer, so I want both Cassie and Helenus to be based on piebald white-tailed deer.

They have a rare genetic condition that causes patches of fur to turn white; quite fitting for these two I think!

Anonymous asked:

What are your thoughts about MeneOdy 👀

Sorry for the furry doodle, I didn't feel like drawing people today ^^' The answer goes for any meneody version tho!

I like it! Quite a lot, to be honest. I may prefer odypendio and agaody, but meneody is also a lot of fun. Menelaos always strikes me as the kind of guy who keeps mistaking friendliness with flirt (as in, he doesn't realise what he does is considered flirting) when it comes to men. I like to think that it would be the other way with women - extremely cautious. On the other hand, Odysseus is the type of person who would find it amusing and he would purposefully lead the converation in a way that the flirting part finally becomes obvious to Menelaos. And then watch him suddenly be just a little bit shy.

Overall, I find them very sweet. The reason why this ship is behind odydio and agaody in terms of Iliad yaoi is due to power exchange - my Odysseus is a brat. Since he's not as strong as some others, he will use his silver tongue to get what he wants. Now, unlike strict high king Agamemnon or young, but sturdy Diomedes, Menelaos is simply too sweet for me, to be able to actively tame Ody's unruly nature.

Intelligent people hate to be bored. If Odysseus is bored, he will find ways to entertain himself. And if you can't put him in his place, he will be on your head. And the vision I have of Menelaos - where he doesn't want to follow in Agamemnon's intimidating footsteps and be like him - isn't strong enough to deal with this for a longer period of time. That kind of romance would simply drain him in a long run.

This being said, I wouldn't have any issues drawing/writing them ha ha My friend keeps mentioning having some meneody prompts, so we'll see how it goes :D
