Just a few Meme and Mimimi

I can’t get enough of these two

This is one that brings a smile to my face literally every time.

With the announcement of Season 3 of Kimi no koto ga daidaidaidaidai suki na Hyaku-nin no Kanojo (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You) I did a little scouting.

Season 1 covered volumes 1 - 3 and season 2 covered volumes 4 - 6. If season 3 follows this same pattern, we'll be seeing five new girlfriends! Chiyo, Miss Naddy (those two have already been announced), Yamame, Momiji, and Yaku!

I am unsurprisingly excited and also super curious to see the general response to a couple of these girlfriends specifically.

I’m rereading 100 Girlfriends for the umpteenth time and I noticed something during the baseball arc

So, we have this, where everybody is leaping to Shizuka’s defense and they’re all amazing, but I locked into three faces in particular:

Hahari is posed the way she was back when she was a Final Boss.

Mei’s eyes are open and she’s grinning, but we also know she’s as angry as the rest of them, so it really looks like someone’s about to die.

But my favorite?

Nano. She has such an imperious look. You hurt her Shizuka and now you will pay.

(No idea what’s going on with Hakari’s face, though).
