Megatron in skybound is wild so I had to draw him

More Skybound so yknow what that means 🥹 more Soundwave pinups… everybody in there still experiencing The Horrors meanwhile my girl still in the Ark just sitting there like this probably 😮‍💨 still can’t believe how absurd his body is in the new style like girl do you Need that kinda waist action going on… anyways, i think i did a much better job at trying to get the newer style this time!!

issue 24

Okay blab post for issue 24 of Skybound there are of course spoilers soo don't read if you don't want any. I loved it, it was just beautiful story and art wise. It was indeed bitter sweet and had me stressing a few times... but my god the arc Starscream had and the little reference to issue 13? Loved it, just amazing. I mean come on!

Just amazing, then him saying his name and his optics changing back to their original blue? Just like they turned red when he became "Starscream"

Not mentioning how beautiful the panel is in general, I mean come on! Tis beautiful, then theres the little comparison between Sparkplug and Optimus again, this time them holding Spike

The "Oh, thank the primes." and then full on slumping in relief? made me laugh. Poor Optimus my man has a war and was worried for his adopted human child.

Not mentioning much like all other panels this one is also gorgeous, DWJ and Jorge Corona went all out for this and you can tell. Then there's the Optimus and Beachcomber moment... I mean come on! It's such a cute panel and you can just see how much Optimus cares for Beachcomber (more stressed single dad points for him)

"You are the best of us Beachcomber" and presses his forehead against his with a solid soft pink background... I cried at this. It's just so adorable especially considering the dynamic between the two. J mean, Beachcomber was true to his word, he would rather protect another which he did in issue 23 and again in issue 24 where he was willing to get shot and die so others don't die.

Not mentioning as said "You are the best of us Beachcomber." Optimus telling him that for for I believe swearing off fighting and simply wanting to help and protect others. Something Optimus and everyone else haven't done (makes me wounder what Elita and the others on cybertron would do/react if they found out about Beachcombers choice).

Considering how she reacted when Optimus stopped her from draining earth to saver cybertron and how she you know had Bluestreak put Cliffjumper in chains for you know... shoving Shredhead through the portal! I mean come on, bit unreasonable to do such a thing. Speaking of Shredhead... my man know how to make a entrance. Especially a dramatic one I mean come one...

Him being happy to meet Carly after you know... essentially cutting Megatron in half! Then proceeds to kick Soundwaves ass

Meanwhile Carly's reaction... Girl is wide eyed lol, not mentioning Optimus's reaction

I love Shredhead and I can't wait for more of him. He has such a cool design and he's going to look so pretty drawn by Dan Mora. Now finally onto the fight between Megatron and Optimus badass fight and my god was the art 🤌 gonna be giving the panels a whole septate post later...

The fight was intense and emotionally charged, with Megatron constantly just trying to Optimus be like him, lose his hope. Constantly telling Optimus he "cant make the hard choices" going on to say Optimus that he cant lead or save Cybertron by not making the hard choices. With Megatron later asking for mercy when he was losing the fight.

and Optimus isn't wrong, Megatron who has no mercy for others. Who kills for the sake of killing, for the sake of winning in his name, who is ruthless and doesn't care for other. Is asking for the very thing he doesn't give or show others. Let's not also forget the ending, it was as said bittersweet and just beautiful.
