I try not to add extraneous stuff to posts I reblog, but I feel like this is important enough to put in the post itself rather than the tags: you absolutely never know how important that comment might be to someone, and you never know what kind of relationship you might form with someone because you told them their stuff matters.

Legitimately, I have friends I never would've met if they hadn't commented on my stuff or I hadn't commented on theirs. For fuck's sake, I wouldn't have a spouse whomst I adore if it hadn't been for befriending people whose work I love. Seriously, it's SO worth leaving a comment/message/tweet/post. You never know what joy you might find or give.

When Anthea met Narinder they had already been a follower of his via reading books about him at Ratau's, and they had pictured a stoic, yet kind and gentle Death during that time before meeting. And while in a way that's who they found, Narinder had made sure to keep his tone firm but gentle that initial encounter since this was the last lamb of MANY executed that night and he didn't know just what vessel he'd receive (vengeful, emotionally catatonic, or in sorrow, Anthea being at peace with dying was the last thing he expected) , it wasn't all there was to Narinder.

Smelling of rot and bound by chains, limbs turned to bone, robes filthy and stained with centuries old blood, and though hidden by the veil eyes that looked so, so tired...so in pain as while he hid it well Anthea could see the faint wince in his every movement, it had them angered and hurt for his sake, especially as they also were faced with the fact that he was accompanied by actual children forced to watch the slow decay.

Early Narinder was melancholic and somewhat distant, and Anthea tried to be gentle and friendly as a result, wanting to do their best to try and cheer him up or at the very least comfort him in his imprisonment. It's why in my comic Starfall they use the crown to show him and the kits well, the starfall-him reminiscing about it was the first time he showed excitement and a positive interest in something.

So far, I've focused more on Narinder's design, which, at least for me, has been more difficult to achieve. I think I have a good idea of what I want for the lamb; I just have to sit down and put it together.

My future wish is to convert both of them into OCs, but to do so, I'll have to overcome the barrier of naming them (Narinder specially), which is already difficult for me... Anyway, until then, I'll keep drawing them like crazy every day if I get the chance.

I'm sorry most of these are sketches! The truth is, I've been working more on practicing and testing them than on the actual illustrations for them. I have more sketches, but most of them are in my notebook, and right now I don't have enough light to take a good photo (BONUS KALLAMAR)

Sometimes when I go hundreds pages deep into people’s Tumblr archives, I find really funny posts and I weigh the pros and cons of liking/reblogging them.

Pros: I’ll have access to them later because they’re fucking hilarious
