I adore Skizzpulse, they're my favorite Dads. And I've loved the whole Cleo mother bit since Limited Life and the clockers, it's just too funny to pass up.

Cleo's ship is a "pirate" ship. They raid other ships and take on unruly aliens. So their gravity would be set so that they can flip around and people will be fine. Most things are bolted down and they might float a moment when the ship goes upside-down, but for the most part they're good. If they make a very sudden halt though, that will send people flying.

I'm so happy you're enjoying the au! I know I've said that a million times before but it truly means so much to me that people are enjoying this au so much🩷

For the prompts, I'm not sure tbh. There are smutty scenes like Scar and Grian fucking in the lab, so you could write something kinky from that time. Or there are more angsty moments like "The Incident", I haven't revealed much about that yet but I'll hopefully be able to write more soon. You could also write maybe a fluff scene just based on Grian interacting with an alien market and Scar getting to show his nerd boyfriend around. You're making me miss writing lol/lh. I can't wait for things to be less busy so I can sit down and write again.

Since I've made a post about what Scar looks like in the Brightest Star au, might as well make one for Grian

Grian is around 5ft, with round rimmed glasses and sandy, curly, blonde hair. I love Grian with freckles so ofc this one has freckles across his nose and cheeks. He has blue eyes and absolutely wears the stereotypical lab coat over his red sweater. He's kind of a tired asshole before Scar comes along. Brightest Star au Grian is also afab and Genderqueer. He already looks quite masc most of the time and can hide his chest with his sweater so he doesn't really bother with t or surgeries.

This is absolutely something Grian would do. Scar gets busy with ship stuff and meeting others because he's a well known and respected guy. Grian really wants his partner to himself though, so he makes a fuss just so Scar will cuddle him and tell him he's pretty.

When he's pregnant, it really doesn't take much fussing for him to get what he wants. And a silly prank could easily turn into real emotions because he's hormonal. Everyone reacts a little differently if Grian seems down.

Cub and Bdubs are awkward, they try to be comforting but they don't know how.

Cleo is immediately sitting Grian down to rest and then talking to him Mother to Mother.

Scar will kill someone for upsetting Grian. Then he'll be found wrapped around his partner in their nest for the rest of the day.

Impulse brings Grian to the kitchen to make him whatever he wants and Skizz regales Grian with tales of his and the ship's youth.

Mumbo panics and thrusts a robot into Grian's arms in the hopes he'll stop looking so upset.

By the time Grian gets pregnant, the crew has grown quite fond of Grian. He's odd and noisy but they like him. So seeing him upset they really do want to help. Sure they're also terrified of Scar, but that's only a tiny part of the reason why they want to help Grian. So a prank where Grian pretends to be upset quickly turns into him actually crying because the crew is so nice to him.
