happy new year everyone!! here's a little something i wanted to get done for the holiday season: some fun socks for the little ones :D

as you've probably noticed by this point, i do love a good mismatched sock. and i REALLY wanted some cute mismatched socks for kids, cause the only ones we have in game are. well. from like 2015 and incredibly bright :') which is fun and all but i wanted something that didn't clash so much and was easier to work with, you know? so here's my version!!

there are five different packages that work for both kids and toddlers, plus a second version on the tights category so you can match them with other accessories or prosthetics on the sock cattegory :D more info and download under the cut!

For those who don't know, this piece is titled 'Unfinished Painting', by Keith Haring. He painted it about a year before his death of AIDs. I believe he actually finished other pieces between this one and his death. He left the majority of the canvas blank to represent his life and art career cut short due to HIV/AIDs. This was a deliberate choice and commentary about all that we lose (both personally and culturally) by ignoring the AIDs crisis at the time (1989). He was devastated he didn't have time to make more art. 'Finishing' Unfinished Painting is straight up spitting on Haring's grave and shows no understanding to the meaning behind the art. The AI interpretation doesn't even follow his extremely recognizable shape language and symbols. This is why people are angry about AI art. All commerce images and no meaning or humanity

I love the ripped shirts that came with Werewolves, so I decided to recolor them! Now they should be versatile enough to be every Sim's favorite old threadbare tee they just can't seem to part with. Some of the graphics look a bit warped, especially depending on your Sim's frame, but I feel like that just adds to the slouchy charm.

Speaking of their outfits!! i’ve been on a huge pattern kick recently and downloading/converting a bunch to use for clothes and stuff…so i wanted to shoutout @pluto-sims for creating some of the patterns i actually used here, both on alina’s shirt and the blanket— and almost on eugene’s shirt in one of my drafts as well. He’s one of my favorite sims 4 cc creators and i used all his stuff RELIGIOUSLY back when i still played the game LOL

These patterns are downloadable on his patreon and they’re meant to be used for cc recolors… this is definitely Not that so i hope it’s ok that I used them….I wanted to tag him here just to give credit for his work bc he actually HAND PAINTED all of these like. On paper??? and he’s so talented??? (like LOOK at this this is INSANE!!!) I had to quit TS4 both for my own sanity (and for the sake of my poor laptop), but if anyone is stronger than me and wants some fun eccentric cc for your sims you should totally check out his patreon and show him your support!! 🫶

Fancy Free & Kitten Claws Recolors

Two recolors each of two of @eltaninz' Four Outfits: Fancy Free (shirt and shorts) and Kitten Claws (jacket and skirt). I included the original recolor with each, edited to enable them for boys. I also edited the original Fancy Free texture a bit, mostly to remove the shadow from the top of the boots. The other patterns are from the wonderful @pluto-sims.
