Embossed braille should be standard on computer keyboards. 

It would raise braille literacy more than anything else I could imagine - among both the blind and the sighted. Currently braille is actually vanishing due to an increasing reliance on audiobooks and screen readers. 

I think that braille has a lot of potential use among non-blind groups. As an alternative to traditional writing for dyslexics. As a way to help photosensitive people type with their eyes closed. Or simply as a means to help sighted people find things without needing the lights on all the time!

Accessibility note: It’s important that braille doesn’t vanish because it’s one of the only written language that works for blind and sight-impaired people. It is necessary for them to interact with the real world where screen readers and audio devices are not available to them, such as elevators, most major metro systems, stairwells, doorways, the bumps in the sidewalk at corners are actually developed in conjunction with audio signals so blind people don’t step off the curb into traffic before the correct time. 

Digital technology has made accessibility so much easier for all of us disabled people, but we still *need* the real-world accommodations that we fought and died for

the point is that this should be the default already, but braille keyboard caps do exist for purchase and crafty people could probably make their own easily.

it's when you see this boy you've known since you were in diapers and he's surrounded by his fans and they're all touching him and holding him and he's clearly uncomfortable but he doesn't move an inch from where he is because he's been raised to be charming above all else so you swoop in and take him by the elbow and tell all the girls that he's yours, sorry. and you see him breathe a sigh of relief as you two walk away.

it's when you see your oldest friend frown and pick her food at lunch without ever eating any of it and you know exactly why since you read that her royal ranking dropped this week (you know that she checks it every day the same as you but the difference is that her mom calls her just to scold her for it) so you bring her an apple pie from her favorite cafe since you know it's a treat she can't ever resist.

it's when your about to fall asleep because of a poison apple you ate and you don't know when you're going to wake up and you don't know if your friends will even be there for you when you wake up (you haven't been such a good friend lately that you wouldn't even blame them if they left you) but at least your comforted by the fact that your oldest friend will still be there ready to wake you up. (briar, ashlynn, and raven all left you at one point. he's the only one who hasn't). he's the only friend you've never fought with and he understands your outbursts and breakdowns since he knows all the pressure you're under since he's bearing the same amount of weight and expectations.

it might not have been romantic. but there was love.

ive always rly liked the idea of a member of a group of adventurers having what everyone assumes is very well trained hawk and then at the end of their journey its casually revealed that thats actually just his buddy whos a shapeshifter and just rly likes being a hawk

the guy also like thinks everyone knows bc he never tries to hide the fact that the hawk is a person but everyone assumes hes always just joking. like the others being like "damn its crazy how he knows exactly what you want him to do its like he knows english or something." and the guy is just like "well yeah thats his first language so ofc he's fluent??" and they all go "haha good one" and move on, leaving him confused

they just think hes a quirky guy that really loves his pet and says things like "the 9 of us" even tho there are clearly only 8 people! he just cares about the bird so much he counts it as a group member haha !
