The courtesan snapped her head to Shen Jiu and the two shared a long, challenging look. Then, the courtesan let out a small laugh and Shen Jiu felt the distinct air of being mocked, and he opened his mouth to snap at the audacious courtesan but was interrupted by Wu Yanzi speaking. “This master does not mind, but Shen Jiu would surely be more comfortable bathing in private?” “This disciple,” Shen Jiu stressed, glancing at the young courtesan who was now grinning at him blatantly and causing his cheeks to flush, “would prefer that Shizun not bathe alone today. Shizun is injured, he should not be left alone in case of any delayed adverse effects.” “Oh, Xiansheng is very blessed to have such a doting… disciple,” the courtesan said, Shen Jiu continuing to glare at her. “This Ling-er apologises for assuming you were siblings. It seems we misunderstood the nature of your relationship.” “It is of no consequence,” Wu Yanzi said, waving his hand in the air as if the courtesan’s insinuations meant nothing. Shen Jiu’s cheeks blazed but he remained silent, Wu Yanzi just ushering him into the private bath chamber with a palm between his shoulder blades.

Luo Binghe is not as happy with this as Shen Qingqiu is. "If Laoshi is too careful about this, then this disciple will simply be too reckless: Laoshi, your Binghe had requested to exchange wine quite purposefully. Proper wine."
Shen Qinggiu blinks, not understanding.
Or perhaps more accurately, refusing to understand. How dare this sweet little god of life and happy things even imply he wants to be trapped in the dismal underworld! This Laoshi of yours has just had an extremely prolonged mental crisis about not doing that very thing, you know!!
