Guerin, the Wild’s president of hockey operations, and assistant GM Chris Kelleher personally flew to New Jersey, where the Canucks had landed the night of the blockbuster, to pick Quinn up in owner Craig Leipold’s private plane. They sent an Escalade to brother Jack’s house to pick him up. They had Quinn’s favorite meal waiting on the plane and a table of his favorite food at the hotel waiting for him in his room.

Full Dewey Halloween antics, INCLUDING:

  • Demanding both scoutwork for which teammates are approaching and requesting to scare his coach.
  • Being unsure of how he's actually going to figure out when teammates are approaching his box
  • Once sorting our a walkie-talkie situation for being alerted that teammates are approaching his box, being DISAPPOINTED there are no radio codes for the whole operation
  • Being mad his teammates are five minutes late to being pranked
  • Upon being alerted that Tom Wilson is approaching, IMMEDIATELY GETTING READY AND INORDINATELY EXCITED and then gloating over the successful scare. Tom coming BACK out to be indignant about getting scared. Dewey declaring he's going to put Tom's reaction on his own Youtube channel
  • "I'm gonna have werewolf hair in my mouth."
  • Protas's Disappointed Dad Stare (and later laughing at his teammtes)
  • Dylan Strome actually jumping in the air in fear like a Hanna-Barbera animated character
  • Nic Dowd jump AND falsetto scream (and Dewey regretting, "I didn't wanna do him like that, that's a liney!")
  • Oh my fucking God, Dewey going OUT OF HIS WAY to make Leno his grand finale, trying to engineer Tom in the way so Leno will have to come close to the box, and then LOSING HIS SHIT when it screws up and he doesn't get to spook Leno up close. (And Leno's bewilderment, and then his pouty kick to the box and smug little grin.)

It's VERY important to let your adopted dog have prank enrichment experiences.
