Sorry for disturbance i just don't know who i can ask(?) (i don't know how to call it). don't answer this if you're uncomfortable, it's ok, im just kinda lost and confused.
i'mm a witch and work with spirits. i really don't like religions, any kind, it makes me very uncomfortable. my mom's kinda christian. she did a "cleansing" ritual without my consent, mentioning the Lord. i feel kinda violated and uncomfortable. I understand she did it out of love, but it's still not pretty.
My question is: it won't affect my spiritual journey? I worked really hard on it. i don't wanna just lose it all. thanks for answering if you will.
hey! i am really sorry that happened to you. even with the best of intentions, it still sucks to have someone do something like that without your consent.
i truly don't believe it'll affect your spiritual journey. i think that the lord would want you to do what makes the most sense for you, even if that means not including religion in your spiritual practice.
now, i'm not a practicing christian but i was raised catholic and i do still reach out from time to time especially to ask about my mom/grandpa since they passed - regardless of what the bible says about idolization and witchcraft, i have never been dissuaded from my path in the name of organized religion by jesus christ himself - if anything, he welcomes my presence and he listens and then sets me free when we are done.
idk if that's comforting or not, but i guess it's all to say that despite what your mom did, he wouldn't want you to fret over it.
do a cleansing on yourself in whatever way you want for a little reset, and go from there.
good luck friend. ✨

excerpts from the picatrix
"saturn is cold and dry, an unfortunate planet, damaging, author of bad and foul odors, proud and treacherous—when he promises anything, he brings about treachery." "truthful words, hope, blackness, old age, buildings, fear, great contemplation, worry, fits of anger, treachery, pain, difficulty, death, inheritances, orphans, ancient places, estimates, keen elocution, the knowledge of secrets, and the secret and profound perceptions of science: he signifies all these things as long as he is direct in his motion. while retrograde, he signifies unfortunate things, weakness or illness, prisons, and a long-lasting evil in all things. if he were in the aspect of any other planet, he weakens and damages it in its qualities. if he were retrograde and you were about to seek something from him, the thing sought will be fulfilled through trouble, misery, and great toil. if he were retrograde in any of his own dignities, his curses are augmented and grow; but if he has potency or dignity on the ascendant, then he will be more harmonious and kindly disposed."

i have to admit that for a "skeptic" i sure do believe (or want to believe) in a lot of, uh, interesting claims.
the way i see it is that 1) if it's real, then fuck yeah, 2) if it's not real, then the placebo effect is enough for me to keep on keepin' on, just as long as it doesn't pose a threat to my mental health. and at that point, it's like witchcraft is the equivalent of self-care for me.
delusions of grandeur aren't fun when you finally snap out of it.
hiii! here's an ask to try and beat the AI! since we're at the start of the new year i'm curious, is there any astrological event happening this year that you're particularly excited about?
both saturn and neptune enter aries in the next few weeks which i'm hoping will light a fire under my ass to be more dedicated to exploring my spirituality and intuitive abilities.
the upcoming new moon in capricorn is going to be really good for me to celebrate my own "new year" since my birthday is this month, albeit the new moon happens 10 days after my birthday.
later on in the year there's a full moon in scorpio which i think could be interesting.
plus the uranus-neptune-pluto minor grand trine is active from march through september - i loooove me some outer planets!!
thank you marie! ♡
⋆。°✩ saturn, help me navigate the limits and boundaries of life in a way that is always beneficial to me ⋆。°✩
brainstorming some content to one up the AI - send asks? 🥺
it worked?!
just rubbed some on my temple and my hip to see if it provides some relief.
also, there's the ingredients for anyone who wanted to know! plus the addition of spearmint and eucalyptus essential oils.
