I feel like because the boys were basically deprived of being themselves during the book, my hc is that they're not very pda because it just never crossed their minds. they couldn't express themselves freely for so long it's a deliberate, conscious effort now to do so because their default states became hiding

Like a fuchia kinda moment. I used strawberry leopard euphoric pink. It turned out kinda ombre since we just put a color remover on the last little bits of color I had left in the parts of my hair already bleached from the last time I dyed it at the salon (it was a prism red to pink on the under part of my hair) so the parts that were more red to start turned out lighter and the parts that were bluer turned out darker.

Hear me out:
Angel: rings, all and any. He stacks them and doesn't leave the house without at least 3 on each hand (they're silver, of course) some of them are so chunky he can't hold his microphone correctly and it becomes a topic of discussion in interviews
Ruben: earrings, as soon as the band left Geoffs company, he got SO MANY piercings. Seconds, helix, even a nose ring (Zach loves it obviously)
Jon: bracelets, leather braided ones, gold bangles sometimes, hairties and watches as well. As a younger teenager he would make his own out of string, but Geoff made him stop when he joined Saturday
Zach, necklaces (which is basically canon). Specially silver chains and beaded ones that sit higher up to his neck (I'm imagining what Damon Albarn used to wear), and they all have significance to him

(Some more) random saturday headcanons:
- Jon knows all of the state birds off the top of his head
- Zach is comically bad at remembering birthdays and equally bad with names
- Angel learns to play the drums post canon
- Jon was homeschooled
- Ruben is scarily talented at getting the most atrocious pictures of the others without them noticing until he uses it as a reaction image
- They're active participants in their own subreddit
- (Pushing my canon based angels birthday is in february/early March agenda i havent mentioned in like 6 months) on new years day angel would text the group chat like "damn yall unc as shit turning 20 this year"
- The saturday group chat is constantly being renamed. The longest lasting ones were "poc + zach" at 4 days and "trusting the opinions of men" at a whopping whole week (they thought it was funny because some influencer made a hate video about them and used that line)
- The shortest lived group chat name was "the vault" for 20 minuets because they wanted to make a "from the vault" joke in a qna. (Someone asks about new music/vault tracks/vault versions of pre-existing songs and they're like "you wanna see what's in the vault?" And its a screenshot of the group chat where they're all making dick and balls jokes)
- Angel watches YouTube videos on 2x speed a lot
- One of Zach's goals in life is to get Elon to ban him off Twitter
all of this but especially the vault and zach getting banned by elon
