i may not have the 💸 💸 to watch good omens or the time to do a proper illustration but i DO have a great deal of nostalgia and a lot of this type of doodle on hidden layers on all my projects
the Design Concept for crowley is ‘not sure if he has too many bones or not enough bones but its certainly an incorrect number of bones and he shouldnt be allowed to bend them that way’, the concept for aziraphale is ‘Soft Bastard’
I always wanted to illustrate a wonderful fanfic by Maxim Falk called “All that is called love by humankind”. This story explores the slow-burn development of Crowley and Aziraphale’s relationship through time, and how they willingly and not, affected humanity and each other. This story is written with amazing attention to detail and involves lots of historical events and people, being both hilariously funny at times and yet emotional and clever.
It’s such a pity it’s in russian, and you guys won’t be able to read this.
Well, at least I can share my art inspired by this story.
In this scene, Crowley and Aziraphale share some time together at Lorenzo di Medici’s court in the late 15′th century.
They try to be discrete about their mutual affection (even to themselves) but of course, they fail.
This artwork was created due to immense support from my patrons community, especially since this month was a little harsh on me (I’ve had an eye surgery and was recovering from it)

anyway for the new and uninitiated i have this idea for a flower shop/tattoo shop au for good omens but - and i cannot stress the importance of this dynamic enough - aziraphale owns the tattoo parlor and crowley owns the flower shop. i WILL die on this hill thanks
why? well partially it’s because i like tattoo shop/flower shop aus and crowley is the obvious choice for the flower shop because he’s canonically into plants but also it’s because the idea of aziraphale as a tattoo artist is very powerful and the idea of aziraphale giving crowley a tattoo (his first tattoo and yeah he totally cried when aziraphale started) is even MORE powerful
I was on board with that dynamic right away but the tattoo parlor has to have the same aesthetic as Aziraphale’s bookshop. Like books everywhere, random stuff all over. But a single area is clean and stocked with all the stuff he needs for his work. The name of his shop has to do with ink so sometimes people get confused as to if it’s a tattoo parlor or a bookshop. He gets offended and huffy over people asking to buy his books.
