hey yo!

@sundermunder

so this is my blog...

I included the last one because I feel like it adds some valuable perspective.  Even if the traitors weren’t in the same hallway as AOC they were explicitly hostile and waaaay too damn close.  Senators lives were in danger and Nacy Mace has decided to try to gaslight us about that.

One of Trumps final acts as president was to revoke an anticorruption executive order he signed at the beginning of his presidency that requiring federal government appointees to sign a pledge to not lobby the agencies in which they worked for five years after leaving the administration.  Drain the swamp my ass.

this is some incredible cognitive dissonance

y'all are begging for police brutality because the people you don't like are doing a milder version of a BLM riot to the people who actually had something to do with their complaint. not a word about businesses being torched but let someone put a footprint on Pelosi's desk and we're sending out the national guard.

WTF.  They stormed the capital building and disrupted a Senate hearing.  The 100 members of the senate didn’t sway the election or have anything to do with election law and how votes are counted.  The had nothing to do with their complaint, which seems to just be that Donald wasn’t reelected.

Also, this is not a milder version.  THEY STORMED THE CAPITAL BUILDING AND DISRUPTED THE SENATE!  The difference in reaction from law enforcement is striking and you’re full of shit if you refuse to admit that.  If brown protestors had entered the capital building, they’d all be shot or at least driven out with tear gas.

“Striking”? “If brown protestors had entered the capital building, they’d all be shot or at least driven out with tear gas”?

No one shot or “drove out” BLM rioter or looters when they took over city blocks, burned buildings, or destroyed federal monuments over the last year... in fact, some liberal politicians erected monuments to them. Politicians actually vocally supported their actions. YOU vocally support their actions

Either rioting, looting, burning is wrong or it’s not.

MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

I'm not sure what protests you were watching, but they did. They drove out BLM protesters with regularity. They shot them. Usually with rubber bullets, but not always. Sure, in a few instances the protesters were too numerous and well organized for the police, but the police definitely tried. Also, this is a point you seem to be avoiding, THEY WEREN'T TRYING TO KIDNAPP SENATORS!

Another thing you seem to be missing is that BLM had a point. This riot did not. BLM had political support because it was in reaction to real things that are problems. There was no election fraud (or at least not enough to come even remotely close to changing the results of the election). I encourage you to try to prove me wrong on this point.

As for what's wrong and right in all this? Mostly its a case by case thing. An effective protest usually has to incovience at least someone. I condem people that trash businesses for no reason. I'm less concerned about monuments to traitors, especially since so many people wanted them gone. None of the BLM protests I attended had protesters doing anything i found morally wrong.
