Big fan of film, music, cartoons, and video games, but I also post whatever I want. I just like to say things.

I rarely tag my reblogs. If you need me to tag anything, feel free to ask me.

If you're bigoted in any way, a pro-ana/ed/thinspo blog, or consider yourself "proship/anti-anti" I'll block you. Simple as that.

Apparently ICE now has agents posing as utility workers to get into people's homes. The electric and gas companies have posted information on how to tell if it's one of their workers, and numbers to call to confirm whether they've sent someone to do utility work on your house.

Stay safe, friends.

I know for a fact many of you got tired of seeing and circulating donation campaigns from Gaza. But here's the thing, I talk to Amal almost daily and so many times she feels the need to profusely apologise for basically telling me how bad their situation is. Amal and others like her don't particularly enjoy being vulnerable on your feeds. But Israel has worked so hard to make their lives unbearable that this is in fact the only option a family like Amal's has.

All Amal is fundraising for is a tent. A tent. She fully knows this tent won't keep her safe or warm, but she simply needs a place she can recover after giving birth in the coming days instead of being stranded without shelter. That's all she's asking for and that's why we're trying to help her reach her target.

When I say donating and sharing is the least you can do, I truly and wholeheartedly mean it. Please do what you can and always remember that no amount is too small when we're all donating and sharing collectively.

it is so fucking bleak that the worst thing most people can think to say about diet culture/restriction/glp-1s for weight loss etc. is that they "don't even work." why is your critique of fatphobia still based in a belief that being fat is a problem in need of fixing

if treating your body as something to be punished and denied had a 100% hit rate of making you drop 100 pounds and keep it off it would not make it any less abhorrent to keep promoting it, it would not make it any less cruel to force on fat kids, it would not make it any more worth it. your argument against disordered eating and the culture that mandates it cannot be founded on a belief that it's not an effective enough way to hate the fat body

Today, my little sister Ronza is weakening right before my eyes; her blood level is 8.2, and she is suffering from malnutrition because I am unable to provide the necessary treatment and food. I will not forgive being ignored—not even without a share.

Her exhaustion worsens day by day, her body grows weaker, and treatment feels unreachable. Please donate to provide medicine and therapeutic nutrition and to save this child.

Please don’t scroll past us in this critical moment; even a small share or donation can ease the suffering and give Ronza another chance at life.

To be clear, 8.2 [g/dL] hemoglobin is nearly low enough for a blood transfusion, y'all. From experience.

Due to malnutrition, Ronza is experiencing deficiencies similar to that of an adult who has suffered significant blood loss. For a child of her age, a healthy concentration should be around 10-12.5 g/dL (various sources). Ronza's anemia is not the mild sort that is familiar to most people. Her life is in danger.

so many. stupid fucking people. smugly wrong. the term . "all art is political". does not mean. every artist puts political intent into their work. no. the guy drawing dicks on the subway did not intend any deep message by it. HOWEVER. all art. IS political. he chose to draw that dick. for a reason. society shaped what he finds funny. what he finds shocking. the fact he chose to draw a dick at all says something about his society. actually, the fact it is a dick and not a pussy is itself political. we are all. ALL. shaped by our environments. in an alternate universe a woman is drawing a vulva on the wall. and shes saying "TCH! this isnt political. stupid liberals". all art. has political CONTEXT. that is a more specific way to phrase it. because we live in a society. who has access to art? where is the art located? who is the artist? why did they draw that in that specific location. what led to them even having the sharpie they used to draw the dick to begin with. their society shaped their tools! their society shaped their choice of subject! their society shaped the location of their art! but these people are too stupid to understand this. so theyll continue pretending that they are not shaped by their political environment. SAD!

out of all the posts ive made that have blown up this has to be the most fascinating Given how i was too drunk to remember how to form full sentences. but was i wrong? no.
