The QuiObi Secret Valentines 2026 is a holiday exchange event of fanfiction or fanart. This year, the exchange will be in the form of a prompt meme, which means that *anyone* with an AO3 account can submit a prompt request. This also means that creators can choose which prompt(s) they want to fill instead of receiving an assigned recipient. It’s a Secret Valentines, so creators will be anonymous until the creator reveal on February 14th.
Prompt submissions open: Friday, January 2nd Prompt submissions close: Sunday, January 17th Submission Deadline: Friday, February 6th Pinch-hit period: Saturday, February 7th-Friday, February 13th Works revealed: Tuesday, February 14th Creators revealed: Wednesday, February 15th
Prompts may be claimed at any time. The mods will do their best to see that each prompt is claimed, but please be aware that there is a small chance your prompt will not be filled.
1. Posting prompts: the sign up form can be found here. Only 1 prompt request is allowed per person, and anonymous prompts are not accepted.
2. Both slash and gen prompts are welcomed
3. Your story or artwork is due by February 6th at 11:59 pm EST. If necessary, extensions may be obtained by contacting the mods at our email address.
4. Minimum requirements for the event are at least 500 words for fic (complete) and a clean sketch on unlined paper (or digital art equivalent) for art. AI generated art is not allowed.
5. Please only claim one prompt at a time. After you have completed your fill, you may claim a new one.
6. Please do not double-claim prompts until after all works are claimed at least once.
7. Respect your prompter’s dislikes and rating preferences
8. Please don’t publicly discuss or crosspost your work until after the creator reveal on February 14th, so it can remain a secret gift
9. You can post your prompt fill by navigating to the ‘Claims’ section of your AO3 dashboard and selecting ‘Fulfill’ on your claimed prompt
10. If you cannot finish your gift, please drop your claim as soon as possible. You can do so by navigating to the Claims’ section of your AO3 dashboard and selecting ‘Drop Claim’ on the prompt. If your work is not posted by the February 6th deadline and we have not heard from you, your claimed prompt will be added to the pinch hit list.

A creative fandom event dedicated to appreciating the Darkside, taking place during the entire month of September! Each week will feature two word prompts and a quote prompt, around which people can create fanwork (of any kind – fic, art, cosplay, edits, anything you can think of) or meta focusing on the Sith and other Darksiders. All eras and continuities are welcome; OCs, established characters, doesn’t matter – it just needs to be about appreciating the dark!

Hi! Is this blog still active? There's no message announcing a break from the blog but more recent posts for events haven't been getting shared here.
Hello, the blog is still active, I've still been reblogging anything that pops up in my notifications... it's possible things are just not making it through to me. As always, if I don't reblog an event that's been tagged, feel free to send an ask or message me a link instead. Sometimes tumblr just hiccup.
(I will say the askbox also seems to be hiccuping, I couldn't see this ask at all on desktop but suddenly today I could see it on mobile even though it was sent a few days ago)

Sign-Ups: November 8-15
Assignments: Out by November 17
Creation Period: November 17-January 5
Gifts Due: January 6
Gift Reveals: January 10
Sign-up: You will create your wish list and submit your preferences on what you would like to create.
Assignments: You will be assigned someone to create a gift for and someone else will be assigned to create a gift for you. Since the entire exchange is Fivesoka, matching will be based on everyone’s wish lists and creative preferences.
Creation Period: You will have about 7 weeks to create your gift. The creation period is on the longer side because of the holidays.
Gift Submissions: Once your gift is complete, you will submit a post to the @everythingfivesoka blog. You may post your gift on your own blog and/or on AO3 after gifts are revealed, but initially, all gifts will be posted through Everything Fivesoka, so that I can ensure everyone gets their gift.
Gift Reveals: On January 10, I will post everyone’s gifts to Everything Fivesoka. At this point you may (and are encouraged to) comment on/reblog your gift and thank your gift creator. You may also repost your own gifts on your personal blog and/or on AO3.
Keep your identity a secret! 🤫 This is meant to be a secret exchange, so please refrain from discussing the identity of your recipient or the content of your work until gifts are revealed on January 10.
Fic Requirements: Gift fics must be a minimum of 500 words, must be a standalone story, and must be completed before it’s submitted.
Art Requirements: Gift art should have detailed line art, at a minimum, and be a completed piece.
What should go on my wish list?
Your wish list can include prompts, or genres or tropes that you enjoy, or anything else that will give your creator an idea of what you’d like for a gift.
Do I have to incorporate everything on my recipient’s wish list in their gift?
You do not need to include everything! The wish list is meant as a guide, so you may incorporate as much or as little as you would like.
What should go on my Do Not Want (DNW) list?
This should include anything that will prevent you from enjoying your gift. It can be anything from certain archive warnings (i.e. major character death) to certain topics that might be triggering for you (i.e. self harm) to little things that you just don’t enjoy seeing/reading about (i.e. vomit, alcohol, or tookas).
Do I need to abide by everything on the DNW list?
YES! We want to make sure everything receives a gift that they enjoy, so please avoid all DNWs!
What if I want to add something to my gift, but I’m not sure whether or not my recipient will appreciate it?
If you have any questions for your recipient, send in a DM and I will ask for you, so your identity can remain a secret until the reveal.
Is NSFW content allowed in this exchange?
Yes! NSFW content is allowed, if your recipient specified on their wish list that they’re okay with it. If you are unsure, let me know and I can ask your recipient.
What do I do if I cannot complete my gift by January 6?
If you are unable to complete your gift, please let me know no later than December 21, so I have time to find someone else to create a gift for your recipient. If you know you can finish shortly after January 6 and need an extension, let me know, and we can make that work.
In order to ensure that everyone receives a gift and that all gifts are posted in the same place, you will submit a post to @everythingfivesoka and I will post it on January 10.
1. Go to the Everything Fivesoka blog.
2. On the phone app: Click the chat bubble in the top, right corner. Instead of selecting to send a message, select ‘Submit a Post.’
3. On a computer: Click the three dots on the right, under the page description and select ‘Submit’.
4. Create a post as you normally would.
5. Please make sure to identify who you are and who the gift is for!

Hello everyone! We are back for the big bang, after taking a year off, and we are looking forward to working with everyone again! We'll put out a more complete schedule closer to Thanksgiving and sign ups will open for authors on Dec 01st! As a note for authors, there will be no explicit beta matching this year, but the beta channel will be available to request help if it is needed.
