teeth's art blog. i smoochy the werewolf. cry about it.

What's up guys! Veil Piercer is the leading (well, he's working on it) online content creator in the world of the occult, true crime, conspiracy theories, and cryptid mysteries. Some people from Nowheresville, Ohio might remember him as Brian Stempler from highschool, an awkward and obnoxious self-proclaimed "class clown" who never got a single laugh. But in LA he's a content creator (one of thousands) making videos about how lizard people were the "real masterminds" behind a tragic school shooting that actually happened to actual real people (and shilling crypto banking services while he's at it). Having recently made national news for breaking into the home a survivor to a famed serial killer to prove she was "in on it", causing the biggest spike in engagement he's ever gotten, Brian-- I mean Veil is looking to go even bigger: Get an interview with the famous but elusive demon-possessed Chastity Shepherd (and hunt Swamp Ape while he's at it).

But while stalking investigating his future cashcow, Veil notices that she's caring for an old child as if it was a dog. Is the creepy red-eyed girl the latest demon spawn from the satanic witch cult bloodline of the Shepherd women? And the woman living with Chastity, upon further investigations, was around for a lot of freak accidental deaths and mysterious disappearances. Could she be another witch from the cult? Or maybe a serial killer? It doesn't matter what the truth is, really; Veil will be making a video claiming as much regardless!

Chastity “Tits” Shepherd was once the only daughter of a TV faith healer and spent her vulnerable formative years being broadcasted across national television as being possessed by a demonic entity. Despite being exorcised over fifty times and starring on multiple TV specials, Chasity maintains to this day that she was never possessed and that it was all a hoax to keep her mother’s dying fame alive.

Living in the old home she inherited from her paternal grandmother in the swampy Everglades, Chasity keeps to herself and avoids modern society and anything with a record button. The only business you might have with her will be in the dead of night, and only if you have a dead body in need of temporary revival; She will perform necromancy for a fee, and dispose of said body on your behalf for an even greater fee. But if you show up with cameras and questions when the sun is shining, you’ll only find a hostile homeowner with a shotgun.

Her only companions are a mechanic named Gem, a colony of feral cats, and this gross shapeshifting vermin called Hun.

Gem Harding doesn't give out much personal info, as she doesn't rightly think it's any of your damn business. But given enough time, one might learn she's a mechanic and ex-biker from Louisiana, who rode down to the Everglades in search of a necromancer. And while said necromancer wasn't able to provide her the solutions she was looking for, Gem finds herself lingering on her property regardless; It's not like she has anywhere else to be or anything else to do.

But Gem in no mooch; She makes her money picking up trash machines from online marketplaces for free or cheap, fixing them, and then selling them at a profit. Between that and the constant maintenance needs of Tits' shitty old swamp house, Gem kept herself busy enough the past few years.

Recently, though, she discovered a critter taking on the shape of a human child, which has reignited her extremely powerful maternal instincts. Despite the strain it puts on her peace, she is determined to care for Hun; She doesn't care how many pounds of flesh this demon takes.

Hun, the titled character of [ Hun Project ]

A juvenile ghoul; Shapeshifting creatures that live off of flesh, with a preference for the human variety, especially when it is slightly decayed (for flavor). Historically they were grave robbing vermin, but changes in human behavior have made the adapt to be hunters more than scavengers in modern times. Their pups mimic human infants, and the burden of child rearing is left to unsuspecting humans. They spend their youth observing humans closely while being raised by them, and use that information to mimic behavior convincingly as adults. This makes the pups much easier to spot than the matured ghouls, who have mastered their shifting.

Despite the visual similarities, they do not think and feel in a human way. They are intelligent but ruthless creatures; Antisocial, territorial, qnd opportunistically violent.

Her caregivers just call her “Hun”.

It’s been a loooong time since I updated this art blog (long enough that the UI to upload images is foreign to me…) but the Hun project has endured since I was last here. I have more projects, now, and I have years of art that hasn’t seen the light of day. I’ll be scheduling out some posts to revive this bad boy again. Hopefully those still around are interested in my ways.

Same may recall this cast, but they have evolved and matured a lot. More info about them specifically to be posted. Synopsis below:

In the muggy folds of the Florida Everglades, a troubled mechanic and a necromancer navigate the swamps to dump a corpse, but instead they find a small girl wandering through the muck. The mechanic leaps to the child’s rescue, while the necromancer recognizes it for what it truly is: A juvenile shapeshifter only masquerading as a human child. Despite this, the mechanic is determined to mother the man eating beast, even when its growing hunger grabs the attention of the gossiping locals and the eager conspiracies of an internet personality. The pair of troubled women must explore their trauma around motherhood, death, and moral surveillance.
