i genuinely encourage non black people to engage with this, who might be worried they can't because of the word "nigga" because they feel like it's overstepping. the only way it would be overstepping is saying it to me when ur not black, but please don't be afraid to engage with black art.
i kinda get annoyed when non black people police other non blacks on how to engage with black culture because it creates a problem where non black people avoid us all together which can be extremely isolating and create even MORE tension and overall being uneducated.

Making OCs out of Sonic characters' favourite foods
Hello again!! These are my kinda-serious kinda-jokey Sonic ocs. I loved making all of these and I hope y'all like how they came out!!
based on: Sonic - Chili Dog
Chili was a very fun design. I used a dachshund (a sausage dog..) for the main inspiration for the dog species, and used specific aspects of food items to incorporate them into the design. (Such as onion rings for his earrings!)
based on: Tails - Mint
Minty is inspired off of the "Mint moth", and was directly colour picked from official Sonic channel art featuring Tails picking out packets of mints.
Not too much to say on him, he's silly..
based on: Amy Rose - Strawberry Shortcake
I didn't have many ideas for Kate, I mainly only chose the same animal as Chili because of the Sonic and Amy tie in, alongside the fact dachshund's can come in a cream like colour. Named her "Kate" since it was the closest thing I could get from "Cake", alongside it kinda fitting the "normal ass girl" vibe that Amy has.
based on: Knuckles - Grapes
This one was probably the hardest to design? Mainly because I couldn't find any animals that were strictly associated with grapes or were named after the food (like with Chili and Minty)
I chose a wolf because they apparently can eat grapes and it fits the personality the most. I think he's got the most fun and fitting name tho, considering the translation.
