THE AUGUST REVIEW IS OUT ON THE PATCHWORK PRESS DOT COM! READ IT WHILE IT'S HOT!
expect lots of complaining about coding, lots of me being forgetful, and lots of jokes that aren't funny. enjoy!
I upcycled these patches out of scraps of fabric I used to make previous patches! it feels so cool to reuse fabric that would've gone in the bin to make something else cute and I'm so happy with how they turned out. I stitched the sections of fabric together by machine and embroidered all the stars and sewed the blanket stitch border by hand. both patches are sew-on.
thus my first task as a craftsman born anew is in motion: i am, indeed, making patchwork on the sewing machine out of the scraps of fabric i've acquired though the past three years of patch-making. i've been storing these to recycle for ages and i'm really excited to see it coming together! especially since i am NOT super handy on the machine.
