Omg thank you!!!!! Tbh writing has always been like. A safe space for me in general. I started this back in 2020 and I remember I did it because I had just gone through like. My first break up that mattered and I was this like young, raised by the internet, undiagnosed autistic kid stuck inside from Covid that just decided to watch the Lost Boys again, and it was the first time I really let myself engage with media again the same way I had when I was a 14 year old little gremlin. It has always been a joy to write, and it made me realize how much masking had become apart of my normal day to day. So, this blog became a genuine safe haven for me and was my pride and joy for awhile. I will say I've definitely changed and grown up in a lot of ways since I was writing regularly (summer 2020), but I am coming back for a bit to finish IJAM and maybe write some other content as well.

I also want to say that queer representation is so important to me in general, but is also incredibly important to the source material and people should NOT get it twisted. This movie has and always will be the brain child of a gay man, and the villain of the movie is a man trying to force a stereotypical nuclear family onto the heroes. Literally, that is his goal as stated by the dialogue. Things are less subtext and more just TEXT, goddammit. I also wanna take this chance to reiterate that I, as a writer, am a queer enby. Imma make my shit gay. Send.
