listen, I normally don't chime in on polls, but Jack Pyroscythe has offered a v!Pyro cosplay as a reward if they win, so this is a reminder for everyone to vote for my guy Pyro
oh my VSMP permakillers... you are all so complex and I love you.
I just spent an ungodly amount of time on this blog, and now am incredibly unwell about v!pyro. I’ve added his VSMP pov to my want to watch list. Now excuse me as I go scream and sob into my pillow. /vpos
EXCELLENT, I'm glad to spread the word of v!Pyro. everyone get more Jack Von Pyroscythe pilled NOW
this is a spiritual successor to my pocket bat post from a while ago, oh vamps moonrot I miss you
thinking about these two. they are so similar to me. my misunderstood beloveds, my kicked puppies, my darlings that just want to be appreciated and recognized, my kind souls that turn to violence because it's the only response that seems to work. Scarlet Pearl and Jack Von Pyroscythe, you both deserve the world actually
other similarities that have been pointed out in the tags:
-both are aussies
-both had beloved pets that were killed
-both of them would be much better off if it wasn't for characters played by Scott Smajor
…Okay, now I have a fic idea.
It starts with a canon divergence. Pearl kills Cleo, and something golden rolls away from the body. Pearl picks it up, and… huh. Why did Cleo have a golden apple on them? That’s weird. (Cleo has it because Scott gave it to her, because he wanted Cleo to win the season and convinced her it was worth breaking the rules to ensure she won.) Oh well, might as well pocket it.
When she squares up to fight Scott, she eats the apple first. Might as well, right? It’s the end of the game, and she wants to win. So when Scott blows himself up, Pearl is left very low on hearts, but still alive.
Minutes turn to hours turn to days to weeks, and Pearl’s still alive. She doesn’t know WHY, she’s pretty sure Scott got smited almost immediately after his win, but fuck it. If the others want her back, they can come GET HER: she’s not killing herself to go find them. She and Tilly are having a GREAT time out here! She’s raided everybody’s storage, she’s cleaning up the area, she’s THRIVING. They can come to her for once. (They can’t, actually: this is a Secret Life Scar situation.)
Meanwhile, Jack von Pyroscythe is having a terrible time. More specifically, he’s being beaten to death in a crypt. The stake goes through their chest, their vision goes dark… and suddenly they’re somewhere else. What the heck? (As it turns out, sometimes the barrier between worlds gets fuzzy, especially when somebody is leaving it in a metaphorical hearse. Either the Watchers have totally forgotten to keep an eye on Double Life, they just didn’t care, or they actively let/caused this, but the result is the same: Pyro is now at Double Life’s spawn.)
Back to Pearl, she sees “Pyroscythe joined the game” pop up in chat and immediately goes “huh???”. She heads to spawn to figure out what’s up, and that’s the beginning of both the fic and a wonderful friendship, although TBH they probably don’t get off on the right foot.
this is SO good!!! the concept of Pyro lashing out at first because this new person looks just a bit too much like the monster hunter Pearl they once knew… but after a while, they make a truce, find common ground and start to talk and, hey, wait a minute, her soulmate sounds a whole lot like his sire…
Vic's Fanfics Part 5
"And that was when he heard it. The sound of clanking chains.
Which made it clear that death was not the humans' desired outcome."
Following the events of VSMP Episode 3, the humans manage to capture one of the vampires.
