so...you said that you liked playing video games,,,maybe recommend some like sally face?

I’m not a gamer…just a girl obsessed with indie horror and quests lol. I’m going to list my most favorite games that are similar to Sally Face, but take note that almost all of them have potential triggers

1. The Cat Lady

I think this was the first horror quest that I’ve played ever? The story tells about a middle aged depressed woman who is very lonely and lost everything in her life. So one day she decides to end it all and commits suicide. Once on the other side she meets Death herself, that tells the protagonist that the way she died wasn’t right and that she still has an important mission in the world of living. This game is really gruesome and has some graphic scenes in it including murder, suicide and other sensitive material, so I don’t recommend playing if you’re under 16 

2. Fran Bow

100% must play if you liked Sally Face. Basically about a young girl whos family is killed by an unknown monster and she is taken into asylum, constantly having horrifying visions. You have to guide Fran through this mad world and help her to find out who killed her parents. This game is a quest and has a lot of disturbing art and locations, along with freaky characters

3. Neverending Nightmares

The hero wakes up in the middle of the night in his old big house after having a nightmare. Nobody seems to be around and he doesn’t want to go back to sleep, so you’ll have to inspect the mansion, discover it’s secrects and try to remember who you are. Black and white hand drawn game with clilling sound effects, will probably scare you a little. Warning for repulsive images and scenes, also jumpscares

4. Detention

Two chinese students Wei and Fang Rei stay at school late, both falling asleep. Upon waking up they decide that it’s time to go home, but when they try to cross the river behind the school they find out that the bridge collapsed because of the storm. There is a typhoon warning and they head back to take cover, but Wei suddenly disappears. The game events take place during White terror in Taiwan, read it if you want to understand what is happening better. This game has enemies with different strategies and some complex puzzles, creepy too

5. OFF

You’ve been assigned to a creature called The Batter. The Batter has a very imortant mission and you must help him to succeed no matter what. Together (literally you and The Batter) have to purify different zones of the world you’re in, to make it pure and free from ghosts. But are they really dangerous and in need of purifying..? The characters of this game and The Batter will adress you directly and try to talk to you throughout the whole game. Funny spectres, cool battle system and addicting soundtrack. Puzzles are a quite hard though
