SHILOH
Splinter of the Justicar

Before a new vessel for the Justicar is chosen, a number of 'splinters' are created. These individuals all have the potential to become strong enough to be sublimated into the god of cycles, but only one will emerge as the best suited. The rest of them will become Sentinels, enacting the Justicar's will across Sever and beyond.

Shiloh is unusual in that she was not chosen from among the beast-race of tsarveid, but is instead a mortal celestial. The Sentinels who found and implanted her with the splinter are considered heretical by most others- when they were found, Shiloh was labelled as a mistake to be corrected.

So she ran.

She has travelled, always looking over her shoulder, never sure if she could live her life- and if she could, what would she even do? The echo of the Codex inside her told her what her purpose was, yet to fufil it would put her in direct conflict with the people that made her.

After a stint with an adventurer, the closest she ever got to finding her own life, she was found. The young rycar, serving the Sentinels, chased her all the way to the Syndicate. When she met Rho, she finally found someone who she could fit in with. Extraordinarily happy to be accepted by the new vessel, she dedicated her life to serving him.

Prone to follow Rho around like a lost chick, she carries with her a paradoxical air of serenity and anxiety. Ice white wings flutter as she runs and her rapier shines blue-gold-silver as it cuts through the air. Shockingly capable and good under pressure; yet lost, confused, and deeply lonely. Her desire to fit in has been fufiled, but she still feels like she's waiting for everything to come together.
