Historical Text 		Xavia's family tree is full of witches, sorcerers, and mages, and of course Xavia herself is no exception. Her mother taught her as much as she could throughout Xavia's childhood, until their different styles of magic became too incompatible. When she came of age Xavia was sent to Blackshield to apprentice under Mallory, an old friend of her mother. She aspires to live up to the example set by those who came before her.

As Mallory's apprentice, she spends a lot of time working in her mentor's antique shop. She does a lot of the jobs that Mallory finds too tedious or boring, such as paperwork and accounting. Working in a store full of magic artifacts, spellbooks, and enchanted objects is never boring for long.

Despite how hard Mallory works her she's still managed to make a few friends around town. Her enthusiasm and sweet demeanor has won over everyone she's met so far.
