Cacophony certainly takes after Misshapen; he is, by no means, a fighter. Try as he might, he never won the playfights with his siblings or other hatchlings, something he was often teased and bullied for. Even among the dragons in Onis, he is regarded as incredibly weak. What he lacks in physical strength, however, he makes up for with charisma and emotional intelligence, managing to woo over even the coldest of hearts (which is exceedingly evident in his bond with both his notoriously odd mentor, Sagasinger, and his fellow recluse of a mate, Balter).

STORY
The moment Cacophony was born, he was assaulted by the bright lights of time, forced to watch the past, present, and future play out in front of him. It was agony, spending almost each waking moment unable to control the visions he was blessed with. They pounded at his ears, overwhelming his senses with voices, so strong and powerful that he didn't even notice as he ran out of the nest, out of the clan, out of the flight. He didn't notice his panicked fleeing until he was laying limply in front of a shaggy gaoler, flame-lit gaze burning through him.
He was taken in quickly, however, once the gaoler above him realized his power, and immediately placed in a position of royalty, hailed as Onis's Oracle and fondly nicknamed Atlas by his new mentor, Sagasinger. Despite Sagasinger's urgings, though, he failed to force his visions, and could hardly control if he were looking in the past or future or present. Burdened by the well—meaning pressure of his mentor, he often goes out stargazing or nature-watching, an activity that only ever became more enjoyable as his mate, Balter, joined him. He loves Balter with his entire being, learning small charms and spells in order to ensure their safety. Despite his attempts, he knows he may never have full control over his visions. Sagasinger has yet to accept that, sometimes demanding that he tell of the kingdom's future, of the safety of his sister, of his parents and of their fate and of everything else. It concerns him, yet he does nothing to stop him; as long as Sagasinger doesn't direct his demands towards his mate, he is more than happy. For now, until either his death or Balter's, he resides with the Cicadas, hailed as royalty and loved like a king, caring for both his familiar and his people with all he can. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ |
